Why do you think adults should be promoting children to going down the road of surgery? Why not teach children that they are perfect the way they are? No surgery makes a boy a girl. It might make them slightly more like a girl, but it's not the same thing. Plus all surgeries are dangerous. People die getting wisdom teeth removed. No child should be making decisions on what gender they are. Your born a boy or a girl and they should be taught to embrace it and love themselves.

If my daughter were forced to use the same changing room as a boy, regardless of his claim to identify as a girl, I'd change her school or stop her using those rooms/taking part in such sports.

If the students at the schools are okay with it, then fine. But if not, then there should be either a disabled bathroom or unisex bathroom they can use.

The students would be ok with being allowed to drink and smoke marijuana on campus if you took a vote on it, should that be ok too?

Doctors can see through that? That explains why no one ever gets misdiagnosed with a mental illness, and why they never have a problem identifying people who will commit crimes.

Just a thought, can you point out the section of the law that demands a doctor's approval for a person to claim they self identify as a specific gender?

You can't just go a doctor and say you want to be a female. It takes longer than that for the doctor to make a diagnosis, and you would have to have months of therapy and be a genius to fool a professional. Why would someone go to all that trouble just to see a few half naked girls?

The law says that children can self identify. They do not need to see a doctor to self identify as being anything, they just need to check a box on a form.

By the way, since we now have children as young as 5 who are supposed to be TGs you cannot claim it takes years of therapy to be diagnosed as a TG.

I want to clarify something here, the current law allows children to self identify as whatever gender they want. The bill that this thread is about will just force schools to treat gender as an option.
