Hegseth (at Trump's urging) is removing "Woke" policies from the military but in an overly aggressive way!

AI Overview

The term "woke policies" is a politically charged and controversial phrase, primarily used by critics to label policies perceived as excessively progressive on issues of race, gender, sexuality, and social justice.

A very rare (and over the top) meeting was arranged where over 776 U.S. generals from all over the world (more than 400 of them being oversees) were brought in to Quantico at a very high cost.

Hegseth's mystery meeting in Quantico could cost millions, require unprecedented security

The meeting was arranged for this reason:

News reports from late September 2025 indicate that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and former President Donald Trump are moving forward with plans to assert political control over the U.S. military leadership. This includes significant firings of senior military officials and the forced attendance of hundreds of generals and admirals at a highly unusual meeting at Marine Corps Base Quantico. Critics have voiced concern that these actions are an attempt to install military leaders based on loyalty rather than merit, which could undermine the military's traditional apolitical nature.

Hegseth slams 'fat generals,' says U.S. officers should resign if they don't support his agenda

WASHINGTON, Sept 30 (Reuters) - U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth slammed "fat generals" and diversity initiatives that he said led to decades of decay in the military and told a rare gathering of commanders on Tuesday they should resign if they don't support his agenda.

Why is this likely to be the reason for this meeting?

AI Overview

According to the political theory outlined in The Dictator's Handbook, a leader's ability to maintain power relies on a "winning coalition" of loyal and essential supporters. For dictators, this small but powerful group often includes the military, making their loyalty a prime requirement for survival.

Are we on the way for this to happen?

"Overly aggressive" LMAO!!!

1. You cannot remove policy in an "overly aggressive way". It's policy.

2. Why are you liberals so over-the-top hypersensitive and hyperbolic?? It's so gross and weak.

3. Why is your entire post one "AI overview" after another? Are you incapable of an original thought?
You must be because chiding is not original.

Here is my original though (and has been for 12 years).

Trump is an egomaniac that wants to be a Dictator but has so far and because of his incompetency, failed to accomplish it. Nonetheless, THIS year, he has had more success because he is following the Dictator's handbook more closely.
Who thought that Trump is perfect. Not me and I doubt his supporters like me think he would be perfect. Everything he does is what Presidents are supposed to do. Protect the nation. He has.
Biden refused to protect this nation and yet you didn't complain then about Biden. You claim he is incompetent . Rapidly he restored border control. Are you reading Pravda?

Oh wait . . . Holy Shit!

Hitler had meetings. Trump had a meeting.

My GAWD! An EXACT MATCH!

The deterioration and deformation of the armed forces began with the Clintons, and their social experimentation. They tried to turn the military into a jobs program and to use it as a vehicle for their bizarre idea of a mixed bag of troopers, rightly or wrongly, and gave that priority over actual fighting ability. Top leadership was scoured to eliminate officers who didn't play along with this new posture. The economy needed a lift, and a lot of this was done to fill stagnant recruiting needs. Standards for both recruitment and retention were lowered so far that we had a questionable force but were able to tech bomb our way into trouble. I think this will lead to the reinstatement of the draft, and I don't think that's a bad thing. I also think this is our prepare for war announcement.
