Has the United States surrendered to anthropogenic climate change?

You rely on their conclusions without giving any thought of your own. You have shown you really have no clue of what they talk about. If they said it...it's good enough for you. A lemming.

Nobody said anything about superior knowledge. You can't repost and defend their arguments. That should tell you something about how you roll. And how do you know that there are not people on this board who are part of that community? What if they show up and tell you something different. Whatcha gonna do?

YOU HAVE NOT EVEN BEEN ABLE TO ARTICULATE THAT THE CONCSENSUS IS AND WHY IT MATTERS. EVERY TIME YOU ARE ASKED, YOU DISSAPEAR.

Surrender? How?

So far there have been no predictions about consequences come true. What are you babbling about?
If ideologues refuse to accept the scientific consensus in any scientific discipline - geology, zoology, astrophysics, cardiology, etc., and can concoct no credible empirical data to support their aberrant dogma, of course I prefer the established science in that field, especially when the agenda of the ideologues is so blatant.

In this case, the ideologues have just decided to ignore the science since they have failed to refute it.

You still have not presented the so called science they proport to refute.

You just listen to the bottom line and accept it without digesting the data being presented.

And when an opposing view comes along, you attack it even though you have no idea what you are talking about.

It is a very left wing approach to turn things over to others you think know best.

Good thing those who work in the world of neuroscience don't follow your advice.

The entire field has changed it's fundamental approach to things like neuroplasticity. There used to be basic "givens" (concensus) regarding the brain....many of which have gone into the dumpster in the last 30 years.

When people counter your arguments with science, you call them ideologues.

It makes it convenient for you.

But people like EMH and ding have presented plenty of evidence and explanations to the contrary.

That is simply examining the data.

But you are bent on calling them names.

You are the zealot.

They understand what they are talking about.

YOU DON'T.

There is no agenda.

You can look at the dissenters from your religion and see that they do not agree amongst themselves.

That is because they look and asses on their own. Even climate do not agree on a great deal.

Your 97% concesus has yet to be explained in any detail beyond "they agree", which they don't on many things.

If you claim is that CO2 is the primary issue, please back it up.

Otherwise, you just prove yourself to be a combined lemming/zealot.

Somehow you think this is smart on your part.

I get that it is necessary to rely on the work of others. But in this case, you should probably just accept those you follow and shut up. You have no qualifications or business attempting to challenge those who actually understand what is going on.

no credible empirical data to support their aberrant dogma,
There is plenty of empirical data to support the dissentions of others.

However, the politics of climate science turns a blind eye. Any dissenters are shut down by the climate scientist not-so-secret police.

And the alarmism of people like Al Gore is quickly fading.

But since you can't present ANY empirical data, where do you get off making this statement.

You really are FOS.

Trump 's toadies could never concoct an empirical-data-based refutation of the global scientific consensus regarding anthropogenic climate change, so he gave up trying.

The dirty fuel profiteers are happy that science lost, but most Americans still recognize the scientific reality.

... The April dinner at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club was described as a roundtable discussion on energy security, according to one person familiar with the event who was granted anonymity to discuss the private gathering. It included executives from oil companies Exxon Mobil, Chevron, ConocoPhillips and Continental Resources as well as from natural gas producer EQT and gas exporter Cheniere Energy, and the trade association American Petroleum Institute.
One person not at the dinner — Dan Eberhart, chief executive of the Denver-based oil company Canary LLC — said participants told him that Trump asked the attendees to contribute a combined $1 billion for his campaign.
As Trump works to dismantle and erase any mention of climate change on a federal level, a new report has found that the majority of Americans believe the Earth’s warming is affecting weather across the country.
Two-thirds of those recently surveyed by the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication and the George Mason University Center for Climate Change Communication said they think global warming is impacting U.S. weather. Those who believe global warming is happening outnumber those who believe it is not by a ratio of more than five to one, the survey also found.
Furthermore, the report noted that 11 percent of Americans have considered moving to avoid the impacts of global warming, which includes threats such as wildfires in Southern California and sea level rise on the Gulf Coast.

Your paranoidal, conspiratorial dismissal of the global consensus of climatologists and scientific bodies as a "white liberal scam" exposes your aberrant view of the matter as ideological and racial.

You are impotent in refuting the science.
everyone say "HALLELUJAH!!!"...schmapp, the pseudo-intellectualism is obvious to the point of being painful, with "racial" as the exclamation point of proof that you feel like you've already lost this argument.

They were doing it long before Trump and they are still doing it.

Who decides if it is actually refuted? You? You can't even present the science and back it up, much less argue about it.

It's like you are Howard Cosell pretending that you actually played football instead of just yapping your gums about it.

Lots of data based refutation depending on what the original claims are.

But you don't know what they were....so you just parrot that your masters are the guys who "actually know".

The majority of Americans believe a lot of stuff that isn't true. And even if they believe it, they really don't care about doing anything about it.

When AMOC switches off all of this AGW nonsense will end.

Your aberrant, ideological dogma is woefully lacking in even a shred of empirical data.
So people paid by the people who support the issue, are giving them the data they want, so they can still be funded, while laughing all the way to the bank, cool story bro!

It's become quit clear that my dog schmidlap ped on the floor, can't defend the science he worships. He does not understand it. He prays and pays the oracle and they give him all the misinformation he needs.

He just says

blah blah blah blah blah consensus.

blah blah blah blah blah.....................

But he can't back anything up. He is not a scientist at all.

To serve the dirty fuel profiteers, the science deniers are now pretending that climatology is a religion because they are unable to concoct empirical data to refute the scientific consensus.

Earlier this year, Lee Zeldin, Trump’s administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, announced a broad attack on environmental regulations. A chief target of Zeldin’s EPA is the 16-year-old endangerment finding, based on a veritable mountain of scientific evidence that greenhouse gases are a threat to public health for current and future generations...
Revoking the EPA’s authority to regulate these emissions, experts warn, will accelerate climate impacts like this summer’s extreme weather events, and worsen heat-related deaths and climate-induced spread of disease...
Repealing a key piece of science-based policy normally requires amassing considerable counter-evidence — in this case, to show that greenhouse gas emissions do not cause or contribute to these dangers.
But Zeldin is sidestepping science, preferring religious language to facts. “The endangerment finding is considered the holy grail of the climate religion,” Zeldin states on the EPA’s website. “We are driving a dagger through the heart of the climate religion.”

The consensus among the world’s climatologists, scientists in general, national and local governments, and savvy folks everywhere is that humans cannot endlessness poop into the heavens with impunity. The consequences are predictable, and are already exacting a hefty toll.

Trump… seeks to shut down the laboratory atop a peak in Hawaii where scientists have gathered the most conclusive evidence of human-caused climate change since the 1950s.
The Mauna Loa laboratory in Hawaii has measured atmospheric carbon dioxide, which — along with other planet-warming pollution — has led directly to climate change, driving sea level rise, supercharging weather and destroying food systems.
Trump’s budget proposal would also defund many other climate labs, including instrument sites comprising the US government’s greenhouse gas monitoring network, which stretches from northern Alaska to the South Pole.
But it’s the Mauna Loa laboratory that is the most prominent target of Trump’s climate ire, as measurements that began there in 1958 have steadily shown CO2’s upward march as human activities have emitted more and more of the planet-warming gas each year.

Trump, monumentally ignorant concerning climatology, has been spewing his baseless crap for many years, and has presented no scientific evidence to support his ludicrous dogma:

Climate change will cost about $38 trillion a year by 2049.
There is no human caused climate change. Green energy will create an energy shortage catastrophe because it can never meet demand. Fossil fuels and nuclear are the solution and thats the path Trump put is on. Europe will drive manufacturing out and they will come to the US. Its already started
