If ideologues refuse to accept the scientific consensus in any scientific discipline - geology, zoology, astrophysics, cardiology, etc., and can concoct no credible empirical data to support their aberrant dogma, of course I prefer the established science in that field, especially when the agenda of the ideologues is so blatant.

In this case, the ideologues have just decided to ignore the science since they have failed to refute it.

You just listen to the bottom line and accept it without digesting the data being presented.

And when an opposing view comes along, you attack it even though you have no idea what you are talking about.

Good thing those who work in the world of neuroscience don't follow your advice.

The entire field has changed it's fundamental approach to things like neuroplasticity. There used to be basic "givens" (concensus) regarding the brain....many of which have gone into the dumpster in the last 30 years.

There is no agenda.

You can look at the dissenters from your religion and see that they do not agree amongst themselves.

That is because they look and asses on their own. Even climate do not agree on a great deal.

Your 97% concesus has yet to be explained in any detail beyond "they agree", which they don't on many things.

If you claim is that CO2 is the primary issue, please back it up.

Otherwise, you just prove yourself to be a combined lemming/zealot.

Somehow you think this is smart on your part.

I get that it is necessary to rely on the work of others. But in this case, you should probably just accept those you follow and shut up. You have no qualifications or business attempting to challenge those who actually understand what is going on.

However, the politics of climate science turns a blind eye. Any dissenters are shut down by the climate scientist not-so-secret police.

And the alarmism of people like Al Gore is quickly fading.

Who decides if it is actually refuted? You? You can't even present the science and back it up, much less argue about it.

It's become quit clear that my dog schmidlap ped on the floor, can't defend the science he worships. He does not understand it. He prays and pays the oracle and they give him all the misinformation he needs.

There is no human caused climate change. Green energy will create an energy shortage catastrophe because it can never meet demand. Fossil fuels and nuclear are the solution and thats the path Trump put is on. Europe will drive manufacturing out and they will come to the US. Its already started
