Has Fascism come to America?

The FIRST tenet of fascism is the REJECTION of the free market and centralized, state-control of the economy. As well, fascism entails state control of media, healthcare, education, and every other facet of society. In fact, the only difference economically between communism and fascism is ownership of industry. In both cases government directs industry's activities.

Fascism is a branch of the same ideological, leftist, tree as communism and socialism.

How about censorship?
You mean like threatening universities if they support DEI? Like sending masked ICE agents to deport students for exercising free speech? Like stripping all mention of climate change, sustainability, gender, women, race, equity, social justice etc. from government publications, websites, scientific papers and canceling any grants that mention it? Like banning books that have a Black perspective on historical events or non-hetero character?

We are currently rejecting the free market, in case you haven’t noticed.

That is beginning …in case you hadn’t noticed.

True, but Fascism isn’t only an economic ibpdeology.

Fascism is a branch of the same ideological, leftist, tree as communism and socialism.
That is false but a favorite belief of rightists who try to distance themselves from the ugliness of their extremes. No one else considers Fascism as anything but extreme right. It isn’t just economics.

Not for the last 77 days. The previous 1461 days, her definition of fascism reigned supreme from the Biden admin and the democrats though.
Feel free to show how it fit the definition of fascism ( not my definition, I used a standard definition).

Why yes. It has. MAGA!

Seriously though, I never thought I would see this.

Source: What Is Fascism?

Many experts agree that fascism is a mass political movement that emphasizes extreme nationalism, militarism, and the supremacy of the nation over the individual. This model of government stands in contrast to liberal democracies that support individual rights, competitive elections, and political dissent.

In many ways, fascist regimes are revolutionary in nature. They advocate for the overthrow of existing systems of government and the persecution of political enemies. However, such regimes are also highly conservative in their championing of traditional values.

And although fascist leaders typically claim to support the everyman, in reality, their regimes often align with powerful business interests.

Sound familiar? It should.

Existing forms of government are being overthrown through the destruction of our institutions with the Executive usurping powers traditionally given to Congress and openly defying the courts when checked.

Note the last line: aligned with powerful business interests: Musk (who is raking in millions in government contracts), Bezos, Zuckerberg.

Characteristics of Facism:

Extreme Nationalism - check.

Fascist leaders believe in the supremacy of certain groups of people based on characteristics such as race, religion, ethnicity, and nationality.

Cult of personality - check.

Fascist regimes cultivate images of their leaders as great figures to be loved and admired. This cult of personality is often perpetuated through mass media and propaganda. …The Pope chalked up Il Duce’s survival of assassination attempts to divine intervention, adding to Mussolini’s mystique.

How did Fascists come to power? This is interesting, because it tracks what has actually been happening.

“It wasn’t overnight. History laid the groundwork – a pattern of liberal decay.

First, fascist parties gained a foothold in government through initially democratic means. However, over time, the party consolidated power, and ultimately secured their dictatorship.”

Note: Trump is seeking ways for a 3rd term and a Congressman is creating a bill to create a path to a 3rd term that only applies to Trump’s situatiion.
It does sound familiar. It's what democrats are doing.

Feel free to prove it.
The two assassination attempts on Trump come to mind. The attacks on citizens who own Teslas ring a bell. Democrats setting up their own government is a kicker though.

What Is Fascism?

According to this source there are 5 stages of Fascism.

Stage 1: Emerging out of disillusionment

Covid lockdowns, economic downturn and supply chain meltdowns, inflation, political instability (false claims of 2020 election fraud), etc.

Economic crisis spurs a nationalist political movement blaming immigrants and ethnic minorities for the country’s turmoil.

Stage 2: Establishing Legitimacy as a Political Party

The Trumpification of the Republican Party

Popular mobilization

fascist regimes seek to energize public participation in society through government-organized channels. Both Mussolini and Hitler, for instance, drew massive crowds in rallies intended to stir up enthusiasm for the country, the party, and the leader.

Trump has the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers as his “Blackshirts” – fascist citizen militias loyal to Trump. Trump has also pardoned them from any crimes or violence on his behalf and made it clear his DoJ will not prosecute them for anything in the future . In addition to those more organized militias he has a fervent and large core of MAGA followers willing to commit populist violence on his behalf. January 6 is the defining moment for the movement.

Of note, like Mussolini’s Fascism – Trump’s fascist militants have skirmished with groups like ANTIFA, and leftist protestors (labeled socialists and Marxists) protesting his policies.

Like other Fascist groups, the MAGA movement also blames specific groups for the country’s seeming demise and undermining efforts to make America Great AGAIN.

Immigrants (not just illegal immigrants), Black People, DEI, Transgender people.
Donald Trump is not Mussolini. Donald Trump is not Hitler. Donald Trump is not the KKK Grand Wizard. Quit shoveling this divisive CRAP. It is not American.

We’ve learned that anyone not willing to embrace Twilight Zone leftist shit is a fascist dictator named Hitler.

OR a MAJORITY of Americans, every swing state and a popular vote are proof the American people are fed up with the Democrats corruption, lies and whacked stupid shit policies. Yes I think it's the latter.

Trade needs to be fair and

You have it flipped. I’m not saying nationalism is Fascism, but extreme nationalism is one of multiple markers of fascism. Taken alone it isn’t, in conjunction with the others, it is. This is extreme, so much so we are not just anti-globalist, but we are isolating ourselves from the global market while simultaneously threatening them if they don’t meet our demands which are demands that benefit ONLY America. That is taking America First to an extreme.

Are you sure it is? Ages ago (in school) we studied the evolution of states: tribal, city state, nation state, I can’t recall them all…what made the nation state most important and…what constitutes a nation? Like it or not, we’re are part of a global economy that we need to sell our products as much as we need it to buy cheaper pproduc

Trade with the U.S. has not been fair nor has it been good for the U.S. We the American People were sold out by the Globalist in both parties in the 80's and 90's.

Those days are over. Only a fool would accept the trade rules the U.S. has been forced to operate under for decades. Globalism is dead. It has never worked. You might as well accept it.

What he said and what he did are two different things.

Not according to the law.

No, it isn’t TDS, it is the way it is being done. I don’t want to make this about immigration though. We all agree something has to be done. But immigrants are being scapegoated, even those with legal status.
Are you kidding!! Have you watched the gangbangers frogwalked to the El Salvador jail? You know, the ones with the gang tats.

The term 'illegal alien' is used the most times in immigration law.

"Sorry, but the Accurate Legal Term is 'Illegal Alien'"

"The Court uses the phrases ‘illegal immigrant’ and ‘illegal alien’ interchangeably…The Court also understands that there is a certain segment of the population that finds the phrase ‘illegal alien’ offensive. The Court uses this term because it is the term used by the Supreme Court in its latest pronouncement pertaining to this area of the law."

The way it is being done is perfectly legal and necessary if we are to maintain America and American customs and values. We are not whatever country the illegal aliens come from.

Sounds exactly like Democrats for the last ten years.

Corporations pushing radical left ideology and wokism. Big Tech censoring Americans on social media who are critical of the left. Dems persecuting political opponents so they can’t run for office because they can’t beat them in fair elections. Rigging elections.

Democrats are fascists.

MAGA are for individual freedom. Dems supported mandates for experimental vaccine.
