Hard Truths....What's Your Example?

The pattern of your rhetoric is hardly that of a person of means.
The "pattern of your rhetoric"? What does that even mean?

I talk about what I think is a more fair tax burden (something we did from 1945-1980) and you all call me poor and envious.

I explain I am actually well off and that my viewpoint isnt from envy its from a position of driving a stable economy and stable society and you call me a liar. :dunno:

If the top 1% were giving 35% effective taxes 1945-1980 and now they are only giving 25% effective tax rates but I propose we go BACK to 35% effective taxes... that isnt stealing. That is returning it to equilibrium.

I will tell you what. Those of you who arent successful dream that one day you'll be in this tax bracket so you dont want it to go up. Here is a pro tip. When you get to your 7 digit income level dream your taxes arent a burden. You live just fine whether they are 25% OR 35%.

Since the beginning of time, the closest one can get to equality and fairness as far as government is concerned, would be in what that government does not do for anyone, because making one person liable for another's debt or burden is neither equal nor fair.

Want I want is for silly dreamers like you to wake up and understand that your fairytale world doesn't exist and never will.

It's strange that a person of your wealth(?) is in the tank for socialism/communism.
That just doesn't make sense.

But that doesn't happen. People complain because some get a little to be able to eat but then say nothing about those who benefit the most from the billions pumped into the markets.

What does exist could not in any way be described as a fairy tell outside of a few.

You say that but I have a lot riding on a stable country. The poor and working class do not. All it takes is for the 80% who have nothing to decide this society isnt worth keeping as is and I lose my large pile of dirt I have amassed. I am willing to have a smaller pile of dirt to increase the odds society stays stable.

I am 100% a democracy capitalist. I earn all my money from capitalism. Most of my trade is consumer products for God's sake. I am NOT for socialism or communism. You guys dont know what that is. Going back to 1945-1980 tax rates is dead ass ground zero of democracy and capitalism. The uber wealthy have you convinced that $1 of taxes more today on super wealthy people who are paying less taxes than ever is every -ism in the book: Communism, socialism, marxism, etc.

Yeah, sure, whatever you say. We all know who you'll be voting for. :eusa_whistle:

Yes, your inability to understand the written word belies your various claims of wealth.
You claim that as you havent answered the historical tax rate challenge I asked. You just dodge. Every one can see you dodge and me tackle the tough questions. Our social status is evident.

Another dodger. I asked a relevant question on tax rates and again. Another dodger.

In several posts you have pointed out exactly how you think the government has screwed things up.
I keep telling you that you are a stupid crying fool because your stupid ass thinks the government, that has done exactly what you think is the worst damned things, is somehow going to fix the shit with more taxes and redistribution.

I am not asking your stupid ass if you would be comfortable with less and have consistently expressed that being comfortable with less is not the pursuit of excellence, nothing worth aspiring to, and is just an example of how you start to harm people when trying to help them.

You destroy their desire for something better and the pursuit of excellence in the face of possible failure and hardships.
What you suggest is the pursuit of the lowest common denominator and mediocrity at best.

I've never gotten a job from a poor person.

So we need to tax the the rich even more, right?

Two gems from my mom, God rest her soul:

"Some days it's hard to get to church, but you're never sorry you went"

AND

"Put your marriage first, and your children will be better off for it"

You have Biden Tattooed on your ass.

What is the average revenue the U.S. takes in regardless of the tax rate Mr. Communist?

There are only 8 countries more productive than US workers (ALL are in much smaller counties than us)

There are only 9 countries that work more hours than US workers over a year (None are more productive than us)

Our workforce is second to none when you combine hours worked AND productivity AND our size. We have the hardest working workforce in the world yet you buffoons act like that shouldn't be rewarded with a more balanced sharing of national resources. It's whackadoodle.

I dont understand you.

What was wrong with 1945-1980's balance?
Why are you so adamant to move all the wealth up the ladder and have none of it benefit the workers? It's crazy.

Be more specific. The top tier pays about 25% effective tax rates. They paid about 35% before 1980. They have had a reduction of about 1/3 of their tax burden by buying politicians and fooling dummies into believing a fair tax rate is for commies.

I am not adamant about moving the wealth anywhere, because I am not going to grant the government that has consistently failed to provide either of us with what we want, the power to screw it up some more.

You don't understand me, because you ar3e a fool with fairytale desires and dreams.

Yet, your party ushers in massive and unsustainable levels of immigration to provide cheap labor for some while putting others on the dole to increase the tax burden on those of us who do work.

What you fail to understand is the fact no matter how much the rich are taxed, the money taken away from
actual rich people will not filter down to the middle and lower class. It just means the government has that
much more to squander, pilfer, or steal.
For being 'upper tier', you're pretty stupid when it comes to reality. :rolleyes-41:
That's something those on the left are incapable of comprehending, especially those that are the most clueless as we are seeing here.

Every dollar the government confiscates from the rich is a dollar that isn't available to increase salaries or benefits, a dollar to expand a business to create more jobs, a dollar saved in the bank so others can borrow to start or expand their own businesses and thus become richer, a dollar that is not available for charity or philanthropy and that hurts everybody, a dollar that is not invested so that the less rich can see their portfolios or 401Ks/IRAs grow.

The 1% of Americans who are the richest already pay 40% of the taxes paid. Is that fair to that 1%?

The top 50% pay 97% of the taxes. Is that fair to that top 50%?

Try to take too much more from the rich and the rich will move their money and businesses off shore and treasury revenues will go down, most especially because the less rich will have lower incomes, fewer good jobs.

Another hard truth is that you cannot punish or exploit the rich without hurting the less rich. The more the rich profit, the more opportunity there is for everybody else. It is okay that everybody doesn't make the same amount of money.
