Tomorrow is Dead Bird Day. Does anyone have turkey on T-Bird Eve?
50 million turkeys all go to the chopping block tomorrow!

the breast bone, and the breast bone is connected to the neck bone!

Bye-bye birdies!! 😁 And yes, Carl is being a butthead again but I couldn't post that in my OP. 🙄

Happy Turkey day to all!

Much to be thankful for, and I hope the same is true for all. Especially the OP who is one of the more deserving posters on this board.

Question for all… Does anyone just eat ham for Thanksgiving? As the meat, I mean?

This came up in a conversation about ham or turkey and of course her answer was both. But the person who brought it up, seem to think that ham only was an option.

Thank you so much and I heard that turkey and ham were both used at Christmas but not Thanksgiving but I guess it's not about what you're eating, but who you're eating with. :)

Not everybody eats turkey.

I wonder if anyone makes a soy-based vegetable protein artificial turkey?

Damn if they don't! Only in America, the FDA allows someone to make fake turkey baby food! Yum!

Earth's Best Organic Vegetable Turkey Dinner Protein Puree Baby Food ...

I guess that is to prepare your stomach for fake turkey thanksgiving look-alike dinners!

Damn. When I was a veggie for a while, I used to try those plant (soy) based hamburger patties and they were actually pretty OK, but this is just going TOO FAR.

If you choose not to eat meat, just don't eat meat! There are a thousand other choices, why PRETEND to eat meat if you don't LIKE meats????

I don't care what you decide to eat just please leave my diet alone is all I ask.

Actually, it is my understanding that at the original Thanksgiving by the Colonialists and Indians that they ate FISH, not turkey at all.

I wonder if anyone presses chopped fish into the shape of a turkey?

Better still, how about some of that FAKE crabmeat?!
HINT: Fake crab is the absolute worst.

Nothing is better for you than the REAL FOOD nature intended.

I'm pretty sure that they ate pizza actually.

Veggie turkey dinner???

I can see the fake crabmeat to save money as real crab is EXPENSIVE, but who the F buys a fake look alike artificial turkey? Who do you serve it to?

I mean, why PRETEND to eat something that LOOKS like or tastes similar to turkey if you don't like turkey?

Eat chicken. Eat fish. Or just eat the frickin' vegetables.
