Hamas TV Children's Show Encourages Killing of Jews

Wow.

Can someone give me a pill or something?

I should be getting paid at least, for trying to reason with this dude.

You haven't tried yet Lipush.
You just keep trying to avoid the issue by laughing.

Your pay is docked. :)

Lipush, you have to admit the Beetlejuice is entertaining. Better than the usual garbage who joins and jumps straight into the IP forum.

I laugh cause you're hilarious!

Besides, it's good for the health, they say

More claims about MEMRI mistranslating videos without presenting us with proof.
Except that Ahmedinejad video.

So, unless you guys have further proof that MEMRI always mistranslates videos, please present it to me.

Otherwise, you are both going to made out as liars.

But don't don't get offended, all of the anti Zionists here lie , so you won't be alone

"Except ... "

Proof then!
Thank you :eusa_clap:

You guys didn't say MEMRI mistranslated one. You said that MEMRI mistranslates videos, which implies they do it often, or at the very least more than once.

Looks like you guys are just making up shit to promote your agenda :)

and yet to prove anything said.
It was a reporter from tehran not MEMRI on the amdnjd collape vs wipe out.
Still waiting for proof of Memri intentionally mistranslating a news article or video.

Suspicion is no less an enemy to virtue than to happiness. He that is already corrupt is naturally suspicious and he that becomes suspicious will quickly be corrupt

>>Mr. Barghouti, Wednesday, said the character, a large black and white rodent with a high-pitched voice, represented a “mistaken approach” to the Palestinian struggle against Israeli occupation. He said the program had been pulled from the Hamas-affiliated Al Aksa TV at the Information Ministry’s request and “placed under review.”

“You and I are laying the foundation for a world led by Islamists,” the character squeaked on a recent episode. “We will return the Islamic community to its former greatness and liberate Jerusalem, God willing, liberate Iraq, God willing, and liberate all the countries of the Muslims invaded by the murderers.”<<

Again it was no Memri but the PMW, and the translation varied slightly but the meaning was still clear. It was not a gross mistranslation, it was a subjective choice of terms.

Obviously the rat was saying something hurtful/harmful or it would not have removed.

Now if the rat had been teaching about being a good friend and neighbor there would not have been an objection. Since that was not the case it was still a form of teaching hate and violence to children.

You want to try another? Or slink back into your hole?

Excellent.
So we are agreed they mistranslate. No one said they don't try try to be subtle, but it is quite clear that their intent is consistently to deceive.

Suffice to say, you can pretend all you like but Memri is a Selective Memri and not to me trusted as far as you could throw Mark Regev, when both of you are wearing a deep sea pressure suit.

Thank you ! :)

Beetlejuice, if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

Ok.

Here is a picture for you. I sort of miss your avatar, with its white, green, black and red Palestinian eyes. And also just in case you weren't aware of the Hasbara's ploy to steal the boys Palestinian identity for Israel ...

Good morning Lipush. :)

Ah.

So you were party to the identity theft.
Well, there you go.

Do Hasbara pay, or is it an expenses only thing?

There can be many adjective for the same word. Translation is the same, a deflection in the voice, a word in context to the sentence, a variant in a tribal dialect....
It is not as exact one for one when translating.

Choosing words to be used in our daily speech or in our writing is subjective. There are many interchangeable and variants to express what we are thinking. We are not limited to a set vocabulary and each word can only be taken in one specific way. A table can be an end table, a side table, a coffee table, a dinning table, a desk, a TV table, a picnic table, an operating table, a child's table..... A table is more than just a table. Even in a dictionary we can find a variety of definitions for a word.

Did you have a better choice for the translation? Could you do a better job for PMW?

Deception is deception aris.

Anyway, as pointed out, you can pretend all you like, but Memri's credibility is quite definitely in question.
You may WANT their translations to be true. But they are not.

I fully realise you would like me to jump through hoops for ever and a day, in a futile attempt to get you to say, "Yes!" but no. I shan't.

Just know, that if you put up future offerings from Memri, they will be met with derision. :)

Out of how many thousand translations and you are concerned about one made by PMW, not MEMRI?

You should be a fine one to talk about word play, double meaning and consequences considering your origins.

It is you who has a credibility problem.

The translation of the video in the original post on here is spot-on and watch the adult in a bee costume encouraging them to "pick up a stone and when the Jews come, take it and throw it" as well as inciting the child on the phone to punch the Jews.

Nobody can deny the translation of the video, which I will post here again. Remember, this is from May 2nd this year. These are the Palestinian Authority who we are supposed to make peace with.
