The Metropolitan Police has said it will cease taking advice from a hard-Left activist after the Telegraph revealed footage of him leading chants of āfrom the river to the seaā.
Attiq Malik, a solicitor who has also railed against āglobal censorship by the Zionistsā, was present in the police operations room during protests last month.
In a statement released on Sunday, the Met said that āpast language and viewsā expressed by Mr Malik appear to be āanti-Semitic and contrary with our valuesā.
It added: āAs a result we will be immediately ceasing our relationship with Mr Malik whilst we investigateā.
A video uncovered by The Telegraph shows Mr Malik instigating chants of āfrom the river to the sea, Palestine will be freeā in 2021, a slogan described by Downing Street as ādeeply offensiveā to many.
Mr Malik is chairman of London Muslim Communities Forum, which is described on a dedicated page of the Metropolitan Policeās website as a āstrategic advisory body for the Metā.
Comment:
These Palestinian sympathizers are dangerous fanatics.
They have no shame.
They should not be on any counsels or advisory boards.
