I have read that in England the laws are even stricter than here when it comes to reporting anything about crimes committed by certain ethnic groups.

Here the media are free to report anything, but they choose to ignore certain crimes.

In England, one can be prosecuted if one says certain things that are considered "racist."

(I have read that some Londoners have left and moved to the north of England because of the crime situation in the capital.)
