Haiku Moments

olympia rain
two inches per winter day
redwood forest fun

Haikus are flashes
Of simple serenities,
Discovered logic.

sweet crested brown birds
sleuthing briers for bounty
red cardinal swoops

It has been four years
Since my mother died too young
I miss her always

I love you, pizza!
Why do you hurt me so much?
I cannot partake.

:(

"it works"

my little secret
to eating pizza works well
take only one slice

Pizza made with love
The cause of celebration
As I stuff my face!

Eleven years in,
the Seventh Millennium
began with a lie.

When I go to bed
I dare to dream I will dream
I remain awake

Woe to those liars:
what befell the fallen twins
sealed the liars' fate.

And that's the beauty
of the One for Whom the Way's
unwittingly paved.

Nothing that happens
can serve anything other
than what IS TO COME.
