When I was in the military I could routinely make that shot with open sights. With a scope or red dot sight and a bit of practice, any duffer could could do it. Trump got really lucky.

Given how AR scopes and red-dots are so "busy" these days a 2 MOA dot (even with a magnifier) would have almost covered Trump's head at 140 meters.

I know, I just tried it with a 2 MOA dot and a magnifier on a streetlight head about that distance away.

Had he used just a old Weaver K4 with fine crosshairs we would be looking for a replacement for Trump this morning.....I could routinely make those kind of shots on groundhogs at that distance. Easy-Peasy.
