Our opinions differ. There is no reason to believe Trump backed down in the 1st place, it might be that he got the deal he wanted to begin with. And I doubt the stock market had anything to do with his decisions one way or another and there's no reason to believe that either. In any case, it appears the US is better off than it was with respect to Greenland and it's assets.

If one takes a polar view of Greenland, it is obvious that it sits directly between the US and Russia's ICBMs. As such, it is in an essential location for early warning systems and ICBM defense. Unless it becomes part of the US, there is no way to enforce territorial sovereignty over the waters surrounding it. Without this, US adversaries can place naval and air forces much closer to Greenland, allowing them to perform a quicker strike against US defenses.

Where did I state anything about the USA or it's military leaving???

If the USA would decide to do so, they would therefore quit their NATO membership - till then they have the OBLIGATION to ensure the safety and INTEGRITY of NATO territory and as such that of any NATO member state. (Article 5 - that so far only the USA ever enacted for their own interests).

Since neither Greenland nor Denmark or any other NATO member-states are being militarily actively threatened, nor theoretically by a non-NATO member state - then what the hell is your deranged & pathological fraudster blabbering about???
