Jones was a low level employee that most Governors never meet yet alone had personal contact with. In any case, because Clinton couldn't fess up to his wrongdoings, it launched an investigation looking for evidence that yes, Bill Clinton did do things like this. It ended up with Monica Lewinski that had DNA evidence Clinton did things like this which of course led to his impeachment.
