Is that your justification?? Really, should we review cities that are run by conservatives and compare? How about cities and states run by liberals that are very prosperous?? It's an irrelevant rabbit hole to the argument.Actually - Detroit is a city. Not a state. And it illustrates the failure of liberalism. If they can't even keep a city from going bankrupt, you can freaking forget about keeping a nation from collapse.Instead of providing an answer you say ask the mayor of Detroit. You are comparing the economy of the United States to the economy of a stand alone state. Apples and Oranges.
How about you just tell me how the debt is going to crush us. I am worried about large debt and don't promote frivolous spending, but I have yet to get a logical answer about what pushes us off the "debt cliff" and how it all plays out.
