Nobody is discriminating against anybody. The banks (like employers) do have a favorite color, and that color is green.
Much like violent crimes and murders, blacks also have a much higher rate of troubled credit and debt. CRA's had absolutely nothing to do with the housing crises, but that doesn't mean they didn't lower loan standards---they did. Banks have two basic types of loans: prime, and subprime. Prime loans are when the bank uses their own money. They make sure you have impeccable credit and good income to secure that loan. Subprime is exactly that--below prime, meaning those borrowers are not credit worthy for a prime loan, and those loans come with a higher interest rate, and many times, on an Adjustable Rate Mortgage. Why? Because they are such a high risk to make.
I haven't paid credit card interest in over 20 years. That's because I have an outstanding credit rating. Other people pay 6%, 9%, 12%. It has nothing to do with their race. It has to do with them not having a credit history like mine.

We have more cases than China does because China is the birth of the virus. They went to work on it much sooner than we did. Also China doesn't have bureaucracies that hold up progress like we do. Our FDA and CDC are more responsible for the problems we currently have than the President. I'd post the articles, but you like to believe what you want to believe, and avoid the truth because it fits your mold of what you want to believe.
