Trump was a good president... he was far better than I expected him to be... the list of accomplishments during his administration is longer than any other president in my life and he did it without anyone outside of his cabinets help... in fact they impeached him twice and he still got good things done.... good things for the people happens to be bad for the entrenched politician.....

Example: His Platinum Plan. Gave $500 BILLION to black communities, just because they were black communities. That's not an accomplishment. That's big government, big spending socialism. But Trump and his supporters either won't acknowledge it. Or they just don't realize how socialistic it is.

Haha, we left CA because of the insanity. I have no intentions of bringing any of that here.

Honestly, I felt at home here immediately. People are so much friendlier and kinder here than in California. Southern hospitality is a real thing. We've done everything you mentioned and more. This area is filled with historic small towns, beautiful natural resources, and great people. The lefties are desperately trying to destroy Austin (and they're having some success unfortunately), but once you're away from that immediate area, everything is great.
