That has more to do with anti-discrimination laws at the state and federal level than it does free speech. That being said, if you don't want to bake a cake for gay people, that's fine with me. The key to all of this stupid censorship is to begin regulating companies like Google, Faceberg, and Twitter like utilities.
Once they are treated as a utility, legally, they will no longer be able to pick and choose whom in the public can or cannot exercise their free speech.
This is feasible and possible but, no one has the balls to do it.
