We need more clear thinking Black men like BigHerc speaking out about this, since our leadership both DEM and GOP cares nothing about the perpetual misery factories a.k.a Inner Cities. It is easy to think it's not my problem or it's not real but you are kidding yourself. This is what fuels much of the hatred and division in this country.

We need more clear thinking Black men like BigHerc speaking out about this, since our leadership both DEM and GOP cares nothing about the perpetual misery factories a.k.a Inner Cities. It is easy to think it's not my problem or it's not real but you are kidding yourself. This is what fuels much of the hatred and division in this country.

I ask anyone in America not happy with their station in life. "So what are you going to do about it?"

I argue for the gap between rich and poor to get smaller. For the middle class to do better. For healthcare to be more affordable. Strengthen social security and medicare. I am a bit of a socialist, but here in America, Capitalism rules and we have a great system. Let's be honest. If you want to do better, you can.

But I can't argue any more to pay McDonald or Walmart workers $15 hr. Why don't we make it $30 hr? That would be wonderful. In a perfect world. But this world ain't perfect. And corporations need ditch diggers to work for ditch digger pay. How much should a starbucks barista make? Sorry, you ain't gonna get a "livable wage" at Starbucks. Those aren't those kinds of jobs. And I got to stop insisting those jobs pay better. They pay what highschoolers, retirees and part time moms will take. People who don't have college degrees.

Unfortunately for a lot of black men in ghettos, they have to move. There are lots of economic opportunities where I live. I moved out of Detroit in 1978. Or my family did. I was 8. No doubt I wouldn't be as successful as I am today if I went to a Detroit Public School. So I get it. The playing field is not level. So move over to where the playing field is level. There are no economic opportunities in the ghettos.

And it's your parents fault by the way. They had you in that ghetto when they were poor. Bad move. But like my parents, they too can leave. It wasn't easy because they had kids before they could afford them. People who have kids before they can afford them put themselves at a great disadvantage.

As for his claim that what is happening here is similar to what happened with ancient Rome and Greece, their situations were different, especially in the case of ancient Greece. Greece's failing was with its military tactics. It's phalanx's were not flexible and relied on one central figure to make all the decisions on the battlefield. The Roman army that beat the Greek army was far more flexible and allowed for centurions on the field to make tactical changes in their units when the need arose.
Rome's demise on the other hand, definitely hat "some" of the similarities to our decline. The position of Emperor had become one where the person/family with the most money, bid their way into the seat....like our nation where the party that spends the most money on a campaign, has a better chance of winning. Rome had also become a welfare empire and war was necessary to keep bringing in more riches. Last was that Rome would use people they conquered, employ them into their armies and allow them to rise to leadership in the military, only to have those same people, turn on Rome with armies from their former homeland. A lack of loyalty for good reason in their eyes.
Here, well we have the dumbing down in our education system, rather than pushing for excellence, pushing for less masculinity in males, wanting a huge welfare state and a military leadership that is going along with the idea of globalization.
When you "dumb down" the education system, you end up with people that can't accomplish work that requires a high quality education system and training. This, is a goal of the Marxist left. Ignorance is necessary for a Politburo to have a compliant people and it is important for the Marxists to have the masses be as compliant as possible, including the black communities.

Thank you for offering a peek at the early evolution of our imperfect species, far too often violent species.

I'm hopeful more and more reasonably well adjusted citizens who enjoy our way of life, including the ability to share their concerns, thoughts and opinions without fear of reprisal, will actively speak up, denouncing those who wish to tear apart our imperfect, yet functioning democracy.

Hi, Mike. In my opinion, what we need are men like this stepping up and nipping in the bud those who choose to practice buffoonery, and those conditioning children to practice needless buffoonery.



Actually, I am witnessing more and more men who interact on social media speaking about behaviors they believe are harming their image.

Youtuber and co-founder of the Negromanosphere.com, Oshay Duke Jackson, does a pretty good job of keeping folks updated on current acts of buffoonery.

Structural conditions based on the 1960's style nuclear family with Inclusion would have made us much better society. That seems to be long gone at this time.
