Yes it was, there were no originals left when the protestants translated the Greek lexicons from the Latin vulgate in the 1300,s. And in light of John 17:26, where Jesus promises to keep on making his Fathers name known, it was in the NT. the difference is this--The righteous run to the name Jehovah, only the wicked fear taking his name in vain , its why the wicked removed Gods name from the bible to begin with--fear of taking his name in vain,

Whose will do you support? God willed his name in his bible in over 7000 places. Because God wants his name there.
