Where did the universe come from?

Where did the human race come from?

Why do most humans have an instinctive sense that there's a difference between right and wrong?

Why do the vast majority of humans believe in God or gods and some sort of afterlife?

Ceremonial treatment of the dead is the first proof that a creature has developed intelligence.

Where did the human race come from?

Well ... when a daddy and mummy love each other very much ...

Don't know. But I'd love to get an update on your book publication. And also an update on your touring Europe, especially since Covid-19 and all that stuff. Inquiring minds...

Actually they're down from maybe 100,000 to just two
that's NOT alot and you're doing it again.
Worse you're starting a Duplicate thread on the same topic asshat.

Why do most humans have an instinctive sense that there's a difference between right and wrong?
What is "right' and 'wrong' has changed, and keeps changing.
Killing the neighboring tribe and stealing their women and children is only recently 'wrong.' (and not everywhere)
Burp-Churches/Religions change the rule as society's change.

Why do the vast majority of humans believe in God or gods and some sort of afterlife?
But they believe in Contradictory ones. THOUSANDS googy.
If even one is right (LOL) at least 75% are Wrong about their creation Myths.
OOOOPS

So tell you what 12 IQ Asshat:: you and the other Voodoos come up with your best Myth and then we'll talk again.

My thread was an attempt to have an interesting conversation during which interesting people would offer interesting opinions on an interesting topic.

However, I am not at all interested in having a conversation with YOU.

When science fills in those gaps will you stop being a believer or will you find ever smaller gaps to fill with God?

Where did the universe come from?
It was created from nothing which is the only way it could be created. Just like Genesis said.
Where did the human race come from?
Dust. Just like Genesis said.
Why do most humans have an instinctive sense that there's a difference between right and wrong?
Logic.
Why do the vast majority of humans believe in God or gods and some sort of afterlife?
Because we were made for God.

Right and wrong is based upon logic. Logic doesn't change. Logic is eternal and unchanging.

What you are describing is perception of right and wrong. That is based upon subjectivity.

Usually the people who don't believe in a universal right and wrong are the first people to argue they wouldn't have had sex with a child or owned slaves back when those were widely accepted practices.
