The school does care. They want to punish the girls who complain.

school officials told the girls and their parents that the boy’s rights as a transgender person outweighed the girls’ rights to privacy. It apparently outweighed their desire to not be sexually harassed in public-school restrooms as well. When the girls and their parents continued to voice opposition, school officials further threatened the concerned students that they would be kicked off of athletic teams or charged with hate crimes if they continued to oppose the boy’s “rights.”

Everyone knew this was going to happen. This "boy" is "transgendered" only long enough to harass girls in the bathroom. The rest of the time the "boy" is a "boy" in the boys bathroom likely boasting of his exploits.

The boy allegedly uses boys’ and girls’ restrooms as he chooses, and, according to some students, makes sexually harassing comments toward girls he meets in the restroom. The school has not made any effort to ensure that the boy adheres to a single, consistent gender identity.

Success breeds success and more boys will follow his example. It's so easy. It's so much FUN.

When my sister was thirteen she was in a class with some Puerto Rican boy who used to harass her. Threatened to push her off the second stories, would grope her as she went to class, just was a real dick. So my mom went to the principal and was told she would not be moved from that class to another because it would violate his rights. Yeah. Read that again. Neither the school nor the school board wouldn't budge even when threatened with law suits.

Common sense doesn't matter when politically protected classes are involved.

I wouldnt exactly call this debunked. You have the statement by the school, who has an interest in this thing just going away. You have not heard from any parents as of yet.

If the principal did threaten these girls with consequences, do you really thing the super would not back the principal's play?

The Daily Mail did overblow the initial reporting (Fox is a 3rd level reporter, but hey, they are the preferred target so MM will make it seem they are the intial reporter to make them look bad) but there are still some base facts here. There is a transgendered boy using the girls room, and obviously there are people not happy about it.

Not quite so.

There is a boy who sometimes claims to be transgendered and uses the girls bathroom to harass the girls. The same boy, sometimes claims NOT to be transgendered at all and uses the boys bathroom.

He must be one of the gender fluids we hear about.
