The biggest difference, though, is that Germany restricts its citizens from owing or possessing self defense while Americans (for the time being) are still protected by a tattered 2nd Amendment.
Armed citizens defended Clive Bundy and the Feds backed down.And yet when the US government openly murdered two American citizens in broad daylight all those with the gun did nothing.
What good is the 2nd amendment if you are only going to protect yourself but not your freedoms and rights?

I doubt that most Americans were present in those two, spur-of-the-moment cases. I didn't hear about it for a least 24 hours AFTER the occurrence.
