Tax code complexity and the rate of taxation are not the same thing. A tax code can be very complex and yield almost no revenue, while a very simple one can yield a lot of revenue. It's all about structure.
I thought you were going to say a national defense guaranteed by a foreign nation, as all of Europe enjoys from the USA
Or maybe even say pharmaceutical and diagnostic technology breakthroughs paid for by another nation's "for profit" health system
Germany has been undergoing a decided transformation to a less stifling tax system.
Personal income taxes have been reduced.
Tax income exemption ceiling was raised.
Corporate tax rates slashed to 15% in 2008.
The VAT/consumption tax was raised - though that too is now being discussed.
The current government's primary focus has been to further free up German business so as to ensure job production and ultimately, increased tax revenues.
Chancellor Merkel also appears ready to embark on some serious government cost cutting measures - government waste within the German socialized system is immense.
The Germans are fearful of losing their status as the #1 economy in Europe, and the Merkel elections are clear indicators the German people want to free up German business and allow it to once again prosper...
Germany still has MUCH higher taxes than the US.
Are you proposing we should assume the German tax rate?
You want to take all of it together? So be it.

That's a study of corporate taxes put together by the World Bank in conjunction with PricewaterhouseCoopers. German corporations pay 50.8 percent of commercial profits in taxes. American firms pay 46.2 percent.
Why should we beleive what you post here when your busy argueing that the Nazi party never formed an alliance with the Communist party in order to oust the Prussia government.
Whats the point in your arguement, that Americans are not taxed high and the Communist never did anything bad?
Now here you go, making shit up. You claimed that the KPD was part of the Nazi Party, then you tried to change your argument later after that was ripped to pieces.

Your a LIAR, I never made that claim, not even close. Why is it so important for you to lie.
You pissed you Marxist heros look bad, funny.
Why do the Obama supporters lie to about Marxist history if Obama and his supporters are not Marxist.

A "Marxist" is what a Republican calls someone that is smarter than they are.

You have a valid point there - our military costs do extend to coverage of much of Europe...
You get it, too. Gonorrhea of the throat, that is.
You can't even spell it correct. It's "gonorrhea". It can be rather bothersome too.
