Take a drive through many parts of Los Angeles these days, you wouldn’t spot many black folks and it will seem like you are right in the middle of Mehico. Just a short time ago most of of LA’s ‘low income’ zones were predominantly inhabited by blacks but they can no longer afford to live there as illegals will pack 14 to a 800sqft home allowing them to pay much more in rents.…blacks won’t stoop to that level to compete for the real estate.
When is the last time you saw a black man working a shovel for a city crew? Hispanics have pushed them out of all the industries they used to work.
Blacks have remained 12-13% of the population for decades, were they not reproducing at an acceptable rate for Democrats?
Is that why Hispanics are so much more appealing to Democrats…because their fertility rates are so much higher?

Hispanics pushing out blacks isn't gentrification. Gentrification is when whites move into a depressed area and start fixing it up. Hispanics don't want whites any more than blacks do. Whites repair, rebuild, clean. The minority poor know that this means increased costs so they fight it.

When the Chinese decide to rehabilitate a depressed area they do it right. I saw how a Chinese developer operates in Torrance. They buy up properties by the block and get everyone out. No one stays behind to complain. The area is demolished and all new is built. Retail on the ground floor, high end condos above. Then whites with money to spend move in. Old Torrance was primarily Mexican. Now it is a thriving little arts district.
