Authoritarian states are like this. The difficult work like building a nation was done before these parasites showed up. They used al the flaws and convinced a lot of people of how unfair everything was and is. much of this could have been done in a sensible way. And we have more problems today than 60 years ago. With taxes many times higher than back then with the costs of things much higher in real terms.
