Democrat Mark Kelly is just ahead of Republican Blake Masters in Arizona, with almost 80 per cent of the vote counted

Nevada significantly expanded absentee voting in 2020, sending a ballot to every registered voter, so it could take a little longer to get final results there

Republican Adam Laxalt is narrowly ahead of Democrat Catherine Cortez Masto in Nevada, but it's extremely close

In Alaska, neither Trump-backed Kelly Tshibaka or incumbent senator Lisa Murkowski are on track to win a majority. It means the race will proceed to ranked-choice voting later this month
A second round of vote tabulating could take place in Alaska if no-one gets more than half of the votes cast on election day
