Free Sakha = 82% of Moscow's diamond resources, 82% of antimony, 61% of uranium, 47% of proven coal reserves, 35% of natural gas and oil in eastern Siberia. The Yakut's don't and never needed the dirty 🇷🇺 🇸🇦 Muscovites. Strength and hope to all subjugated, repressed and oppressed people by Kremlin, Sakha will BE FREE VERY SOON !

The Sakha-Yakuts are giving their lives in the war against Ukraine for the imperial ambitions of the Kremlin. They seem to have completely forgotten how Muscovites used to kill their ancestors and take over their lands.

It's unclear how many Yakuts actually joined the Siberian Battalion, which was entirely decimated after the failed attempt to invade the Belgrade region last month. They would never volunteer to fight for Ukraine again after knowing their comrades' dismal fate, who were thrust into the forefront of the battle without adequate military training and logistic support. For Ukraine, the lives of Russian volunteers were dispensable. The pro-Russian authorities of the Republic of Sakha actively supported the full-scale aggression against Ukraine and the Yakut volunteer unit “Bootur” was organized, which was enabled by its patriotic residents and the strong support given by the head of the republic, according to a local source.

Yakutia was one of the first regions where residents and the head of Aisen Nikolaev supported President Vladimir Putin’s decision to conduct a special operation. Already in February 2022, volunteers appeared among Yakut residents who declared their intention to participate in the SVO.

According to political scientist Alina Zhestovskaya, this is not surprising. “Yakutia, the Caucasus republics, and to a lesser extent Bashkiria and Tatarstan are regions whose culture is closely connected with war, where professional warriors live. Remember, at the beginning of mobilization there were a lot of videos on the Internet of Chechens dancing Lezginka at recruiting stations and of Yakut conscripts dancing their war dances at collection points,” says the political scientist.

Let us recall that already in July a volunteer detachment “Bootur” was formed in Yakutia and a military training center was created. At the end of September, as throughout the country, mobilization began, the main activities of which were completed there in less than a month and a half. At the same time, the successful completion of mobilization in the region is due to the patriotic spirit of the residents and the timely reaction of the head of the republic, experts say.
