Democrats are trying to claim that Trump would impose a national ban on abortion but that's a lie. He's made it quite clear that he'll leave that up to individual States so for the vast majority of women in the US there has been no change nor will there be.

If you're a woman in Michigan you've figured out at this point that your right to an abortion is protected in that State. So what is more important to you? The inflation that's added almost 20% to your every day bills and is keeping you from putting food on the table for your family...or that another State that you don't live in enacts a 90 day ban on abortions?

Sweden is a relatively isolated country of about 10 million. Probably not a good example.

A better example would be Japan, which went into a total lockdown, canceled the Olympics, and strictly enforced social distancing. (It helped that mask-wearing was already popular in Japan, and they don't hug or shake hands when greeting; they do that whole bowing thing.) With a larger elderly population and high population density, Covid should have decimated them. But instead, total Covid Fatalities in Japan were about 50,000, compared to over a million for the US.

There is no reason to believe that COVID could have decimated Japan when considering that they have a healthier population than us.

And it is rather ironic that you would suggest that Sweden is "relatively isolated" when Japan is substantially more isolated due to strict immigration policies. By comparison, Sweden is very cosmopolitan. It is true that Japan is far more densely populated, but there are numerous densely populated countries that did not have that many restrictions yet did not have major death tolls from COVID. India had a pretty low death toll given its population size, for example.

The world would be truly better off if Religion just went away.
