Hey, Fortress of Slime-itude :So?
It's a lie.
Trump has corrupted another lawyer.
Hey, Fortress of Slime-itude :
It clearly is not a lie. And we can all know this because your idiot pal, James Comey, said it himself.
James Comey is in deep doo doo. And his lawyers will do what they can for him under the circumstances. But, ultimately, when it comes down to crunch time, he will either go to trial and get convicted based largely on his own Congressional testimony, or he will avail himself of a plea offer.
Given a choice between that and prison, he will take the deal in a heartbeat. Ironically, Comey is the least partisan of the bad actors in the whole "this time we finally got him" drama. Unless you mean a Party of One, Comey himself. That's all Comey cares about. And I again predict the offer may not demand prison time (assuming the judge is ok with that outcome), but it sure as shit will require that he allocute fully about his role in the fraud he took part in. And it might well require him to cooperate in related (prospective) prosecutions.
It is interesting that a very liberal Grand Jury indicted
Comey on 2 of the 3 charges.
This wasn't Trump indicting Comey, but his peers that indicted him.
If he didnt actually lie, he should be found guilty anyway?
The lying part is not in question.
So what did Comey lie about? If Comey walks, our legal system isn't worth a ****.
Given how MAGA deals with things, he doesn't even have to be found guilty. And yet it obviously is.
IT seems that the Grand Jury rejected a lot before that:I have posted the video of Comey answering the question about authorizing the leak, which is when he allegedly lied.
All of this is on video, as it happened at Congressional hearings. So, anyone who cares to can go through those clips can find out exactly what McCabe said and exactly what Comey said.
You are welcome to do so and post it.
I would take the time to find them myself, if my intent was to show that Comey is innocent or guilty. But, I don't feel the need to to do that. It is factual that the DOJ presented enough evidence that a grand jury in very blue Virginia decided that there was enough for a trial.
The trial will of course not be simply playing the two clips of Comey and McCabe. My guess is that McCabe will testify against Comey, who will or will not testify to rebut what McCabe says. Just a guess, though.
The trial will have extensive coverage. Whatever the outcome, I'll accept it, as I will for any other former pursuers of Trump who are indicted and tried.
Why is that the wrong approach?
The real bet is how quick to throw out...Given how MAGA deals with things, he doesn't even have to be found guilty.
If he's found guilty, they celebrate. If he's not, or if the case is thrown out, they play the victim to a corrupt system.
Either way, they pretty much get what they want. That's how it works when principle doesn't matter.
zzz
And yet it obviously is.
The real bet is how quick to throw out...
Comey could get it thrown out as being vindictive quiet early.. Just say that previous prosecutor wanted nothing to do with it, President ordered it and made it clear it was for revenge...
The Democrat activist holdovers in the DOJ should be fired immediately for refusing to do their jobs.IT seems that the Grand Jury rejected a lot before that:

Judge who reviewed James Comey's indictment was confused by prosecutor's handling of case, transcript shows
A magistrate judge expressed confusion and surprise at some points during a Thursday night court session when a federal grand jury returned James Comey's indictment.www.cbsnews.com
"
A majority of the grand jury that reviewed the Comey matter voted not to charge him with one of the three counts presented by prosecutors, according to a form that was signed by the grand jury's foreperson and filed in court. He was indicted on two other counts — making false statements to Congress and obstructing a congressional proceeding — after 14 of 23 jurors voted in favor of them, the foreperson told the judge.
But two versions of the indictment were published on the case docket: one with the dropped third count, and one without. The transcript reveals why this occurred.
"So this has never happened before. I've been handed two documents that are in the Mr. Comey case that are inconsistent with one another," Vaala said to Halligan. "There seems to be a discrepancy. They're both signed by the (grand jury) foreperson." "
The legal guys are saying that Halligan is seriously out of her dept in going to trial in this case. They will phone in a ringer from another area but they will take a bit of looking as the case looks like it will be dropped early on due to vindictive prosecution..
Odds are quite good it gets kicked in preliminary motions. Here is where you start lining up the excuses for when it gets laughed out of court.
Why do you say that?
Biden didn't know what he ate for breakfast, much less what anyone else was doing. President Auto-Pen lives forever!Notice how Biden stayed out of it, used Special Prosecutors and refused to comment on guilt or innocence
Jeff Sessions will tell us.If he didnt actually lie, he should be found guilty anyway?
