Watching the piece, and understanding the terms the agency wanted the couple to accept, was contingent on when and if kids should come home from school making the claim they are a gender other than that assigned at birth, the foster family is required to confirm the beliefs of little kids to continue to be an eligible family.

If the children believe they are a dog, and they go around biting the other kids and the neighbors, accepting the child's feelings are NOT good for the development of the child.

They take in kids with all sorts of problems from broken homes and single mothers who can't take care of their own kids. I think they can handle challenges.
