I agree. To me, a good deal of these kids are just wanting attention. What I would like to know is how they feel about those who are trying to normalize the behavior. Soon, there won't be anything that raises the eyebrows of other people.I am firmly against the belief that LGBTQ people are “grooming” or recruiting children. That’s just fuckibg ridiculos.
But when it comes to teens and prepubescent kids stating they’re “trans”, I 100% believe the vast majority aren’t trans at all, as much as they’re just wanting to be different.
Be rebellious. Get attention. Make their parents uncomfortable. It’s fun to change their name and make mom and dad buy them new clothes. It’s fun for them to be a drama queen when strangers “misgender” them.
They’re teens, they LOVE the stupid-ass drama that goes along with suddenly being “trans”.
It reminds me of middle school kids deciding that they’re “goth”. They get to wear weird clothes and be melodramatic pain-in-the-asses for a few years. But they grow out of it. It’s a phase.
God bless you always!!!
