Former Raiders quarterback Ken Stabler dies

My experience was pain free, did not want to do it but family insisted and now I'm good for 10 years. What's not to like about that?
I heard a rumor that if you eat enough broccoli, you won't need them?

the fart's a better indicator. if it stinks your colon is good to go
I had colon cancer and they reamed it out about 7 years ago. My colon must be good because my farts make me wake up gagging.

I had the pre-cursor, diverticulitis. They cut out about 18 inches of my colon and sowed the ends together.

The downside to that is they don't give me dilatted anymore when I go to the hospital. That drug is the bomb!

"I started my life third and long. I skipped practices. I got kicked off my high school team. I got kicked off my college team. I left pro football in 1969.I've had third and fifteen my whole life.Everybody has had rocky moments from day one. But sometimes you pick up third and long, and thats where you make your money. Thats where the satisfaction comes, from the game and from life" Kenny Stabler may he RIP

great athlete and gone too soon. Please encourage everyone you know over 50 to be scanned for colon cancer.
That would involve a colonoscopy.

The most painful experience I've ever had.

know as the lower GI and ive had a few. the clean out is a pain in the ass but the procedure a piece a cake. done in about 15-20 mins
Mine was quite painful. It's been near 20 years and haven't been inclined to repeat the experience.

Stabler wrote an autobiography called "Snake." A great sports book.

He is one of those that should be in the HOF.

RIP Kenny, my favorite QB all time.

The man knew the two minute drill and he played it better than anyone.

Stabler was one of the best QBs of the 70s and led one of the best teams

Staubach, Tarkenton and Bradshaw were probably the best

but Stabler was better than Griese, Anderson and any of the others

Stabler was probably not one of the classic "greatest quarterback" types.

But he never quit and could pull a victory out of defeat as well as anyone who ever plays.

He had a QB rating of 103 one season, the league average was like 65. He also was the only pre 80's QB to complete 65% of his passes.

I put him in the same category as Bradshaw and Staubach.

I don't think his numbers were that good which kept him out of the HOF. A second SB win would have got him in
