Former Raiders quarterback Ken Stabler dies

I shook hands with Elway in a hotel bar in KC one sat night
I met Willy Mays when I was 10 years old in a café in Palm Springs when the Giants were there to play the Angels in spring training.

He blew me off!

he was kinda stuck up. accepting then refusing an interview at Royals stadium.

Kenny was a native of Foley, AL and a bit of a local hero.
Foley High went 29 - 1 when he was quarterback.

great athlete and gone too soon. Please encourage everyone you know over 50 to be scanned for colon cancer.
That would involve a colonoscopy.

The most painful experience I've ever had.

My experience was pain free, did not want to do it but family insisted and now I'm good for 10 years. What's not to like about that?

Yes, this area is known for it's alcohol consumption. When you only have 60-ish days a year of full sun...you would drink heavily as well. lol
Kenny was one of the original NFL party boys.

Him, Denny Laine and Paul Hornung, partied hard.

Then you've never experienced a sigmoidoscopy? Now that'll make you want to kill the doctor if you're not far under anesthesia.

Anesthesia is the trick. I had a cytoscopy and would not like that done ever again.

RIP Kenny, my favorite QB all time.

The man knew the two minute drill and he played it better than anyone.
