No blocking, Manhattan will get Trump's taxes and financials and, of course, Donald releases some of his rhetoric.
Now you know why not being in power predicted his legal woes.
It's case on.

"The office of former President Donald Trump on Monday released a statement claiming "political persecution."

"The statement was released after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled against Trump's efforts to shield his taxes from Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance, Jr."

"Trump argued the investigation was "a continuation of the greatest political Witch Hunt in the history of our Country.'"

"It just never ends!" he complained.

He doesn’t sound desperate or guilty at all!

Why are Leftists so blind/stupid?

Is there any justification on God's green earth why some out-of-control, unaccountable prosecutor needs to see TEN YEARS of records to investigate a couple of extremely dubious claims of election finance irregularities and ROUTINE valuation anomalies? The answer is clearly, NO.

If this harassment were done to one of the Leftist darlings they would be going out of their fucking minds.

You know, it's almost comical how the Lefties always fret about how violent we "Right Wingers" are. But if that were true, Cyrus Vance would have assumed room temperature years ago.

Gorsuch has been okay with me so far. Barrett is too new to tell. Kavanaugh is still really new too.

As long as they don't touch Obamacare, I don't mind at all. They seem to be okay so far.
I don't care for any of them.

Obama's pick should have been on SCOTUS instead.

Get real and quit that whining. A decision by the SC but it's something nefarious. Why is that way with you KOOKs?

Trump’s response bears every hallmark of an authentically Trump-authored text, as opposed to the knockoff versions produced by his aides. It is meandering, filled with run-on sentences, gratuitous insults, and exclamation points. Trump’s position on the tax returns rests on a series of assertions, ranging from his false claim that Robert Mueller found “No Collusion” to his insistence that he actually won the 2020 election to his extremely ironic complaint that prosecutors targeting their political opponents is “fascism, not justice.” (Trump, of course, spent his presidency publicly demanding his Attorneys General investigate his political rivals.)

The statement does contain one unambiguously true point: “This is something which has never happened to a president before.” That’s correct, because every president for the past several decades has voluntarily released his financial information. Only Trump refused.

The most conspicuous absence from Trump’s statement is any explanation as to why he has fought so hard to conceal this information, which all his predecessors willingly disclosed. He goes on at great length about the prosecutors’ motives for obtaining it without even gesturing at his own for withholding it.

Journalists have pieced together enough about various Trump financial dealings to demonstrate the high likelihood that he has committed a series of financial crimes. There is probably enough to charge him even without the tax forms. Giving Vance still more information certainly can’t help Trump.

And look where it's ending up for him.

If it is truly a "witch hunt" trump's stooges on the USSC would have ruled in his favor. But, not one single dissent was noted.

When the law is on your side, as it is for Manhattan D.A. Cyrus Vance, the USSC is stuck doing what's right.

The corrupt Moscow Mitch stopped that. With any luck, the Democrats will repair the years of damage he's done to this country.
