So are you disputing the data from Mars which shows Martian SAP rises the closer Mars gets to Sun, or are you disputing
closer to Sun = "warmer?"

During the Jurassic Period, the Earth’s climate was much warmer and wetter than it is today.
Jurassic surface air pressure was likely higher than today's, possibly ranging from 8 to 10 bar (8 to 10 times current pressure) or a total pressure of 3.7 to 5.0 bar

Lindzen is another not to trust fully. Lindzen was "on the taxpayer dole" and "agrees there is warming" just like all of our resident "faux skeptics."
The real truth is back up at the top of Environment section, since CO2 does nothing...
This one of my favorite lectures from Lindzen in which he explains the physics.
As I said, and all honest scientists understand, the feedbacks are negative.

Now post data from the last year that shows when the temperature in any location (every location!) is higher that the surface air pressure in that location is higher.

The bottom line is that Earth does have a slightly elliptical orbit and when closest to Sun in January has a slight uptick in Surface Air Pressure, downtick in July for the same reason.
Mars, of course, has a much more elliptical orbit, and makes the proof quite clear

Take a spot on Earth, measure every daily temperature and SAP at the same time.
Look at the highest temperature readings, the SAP will be lowest.
Look at the lowest temperature readings, the SAP will be highest.
Only a total moron like you will see all those data points and come to
the conclusion that higher temperatures result in higher SAP readings.
But you're a total moron, so that's what you do.

There are many local SAP measurements.
Many more in the northern hemisphere than in the southern hemisphere.
How many readings are you averaging to get your fictious "Earth SAP"?
What is their distribution?
