Food insecurity is a real thing

Remember last week when this Minnesota woman said she would starve without food stamps?

Yeah....food insecurity is a *****. :D

Without food stamps she'd also no longer be in the running for an Olympic gold medal.

Although maybe she'd make the cut for the opening ceremony in Paris...

Biden is 100 percent correct.

Trump was also honest when he was interviewed by Playboy in the early 90s:

TRUMP: I like the challenge and tell the story of the coal miner’s son. The coal miner gets black-lung disease, his son gets it, then his son . If I had been the son of a coal miner, I would have left the damn mines. But most people don’t have the imagination–or whatever–to leave their mine. They don’t have ā€œit.ā€

PLAYBOY: Which is?

TRUMP: ā€œItā€ is an ability to become an entrepreneur, a great athlete, a great writer. You’re either born with it or you’re not.

Dude. That's being just as much a dick as those who deny food insecurity.

Offer a solution to the problem. Because nothing is working so far.
We have solved the problem in my community though food banks.

But we are a pretty Conservative area so there are plenty of people willing to donate their time and money to the food banks

I can see how the problem only gets worse in liberal areas since they tend to be more selfish

Maybe, and some of them would be grateful that they don't have to put their young child to bed with an empty stomach...Look, I am just as much for personal responsibility, and figuring it out as the next conservative, but, we can not loose our compassion either....It is literally no sweat off of your, or my back to just swing by with $20 of groceries a month, and it would do good....Are you saying you're against that?
True poorer people would still make bad food choices just like many of us still do.
So what? Feed the children.

I help with our food bank. It's amazing how long their lines get. Actually, it's sad. I figure it's greed and drug abuse that causes most of our food insecurity, but it pisses me off when I see Democrats favoring illegal aliens over our food insecure.

I always thought Democrats' response to eliminating coal jobs was to tell all of these people to move to California and work on wind farms. But, I guess if they learn how to code then they don't have to move to California. The funny part is, Biden thought he was being brilliant. Wouldn't it be funny to watch Biden learn how to code? That would be a good laugh.

Blah blah blah it's always the Democrats fault blah blah blah.
Just stating the truth. Do you deny the highest income and wealth inequality and the most homlessness and the most social injustice are in the deep dark blue states which are controlled by Democrats? Why are you a fact denier?

The solution is to limit what can be purchased using the SNAP benefit. If they accept taxpayer money to live, they will have to accept a limitation on their personal eating habits.

Here is a list for consideration to limit the abuses of taxpayer largess.

MAGA media is dishonest. Coal jobs have been automated out of existence. That's a fact.

From 1875 to 2008, coal production skyrocketed.

Now look at this fact about coal jobs:

As I have said countless times here, we need to be educating our children for the jobs of tomorrow, not promising the jobs of yesterday which are long gone.

Trump is an idiot promising to grow coal jobs, and a coal mining operator called him on his bullshit in the 2016 campaign.

So, yes. Coal miners' sons need to learn how to code or learn microbiology or other technical field jobs.

Unless they want to be Pizza Hut delivery boys.

MAGA is setting these people up for failure by making promises they can't keep.

Good thing for them. The BBB is now cutting Medicaid to able bodied people who refuse to work, go to school, or volunteer. This means they will have to go out and get a job to earn money to put food on the table. So, their kids won't be going to bed with empty stomachs anymore.

Why are you stopping at 2008?

Oh right, that's when the Obama admin started making use of coal for power generation harder due to regulations designed to ban by proxy coal fired power plants.

It's amazing how much of a ******* hack you are.

Democrats have purposely tried to eliminate coal jobs.

I have to give them some credit. The left are masters at cherry picking stats to prove their point, while conveniently not mentioning stats which don't prove their point.

I'm not discounting the donating, but what food insecurity people usually demand is government forced supply, while not forcing the recipients to demand said supply, rather sticking to what they want to buy.
I'm sorry, I'm not getting what you're saying here...Could you clarify it a little more...?

I'm sorry, I'm not getting what you're saying here...Could you clarify it a little more...?

People like John Edgar Horse Moron complain about food insecurity to demand more government funding of things like Government owned groceries, and more and more funding to food programs, but then complain when people try to restrict said programs to healthier food because they think it's "mean"

Just more leftist mentality of throwing money at a problem, while increasing government size and cost, while not doing what would be needed to solve the actual issue.

The steepest drops will disproportionately hit elderly people, she said. Older adults who qualify for the minimum SNAP benefit will see their amount fall from $281 per month to just $23 in March.

On average, those who qualify for SNAP will now receive about $6 per person per day
