Food insecurity is a real thing

Correll is the one filled with toxic empathy, if such a thing exists.

He has no empathy, as a matter of fact, for people who suffer that the may not like.

  • 95 percent of adults and 98 percent of teens have an inadequate vitamin D intake. (This would include most 'poor' people.)
Three glasses of vitamin D fortified milk and 20 minutes in the sunshine daily provide all the vitamin D needed. Are we unable to do this?
A couple of hours of yard work yesterday should have me covered. But no way am I drinking three glasses of milk.

You want access to food, don't burn down the grocery stores, retards.
Or, even better….do what the Jews did when they arrived here penniless and unable to speak the language: band together and form little fruit markets, butchers, and mini-groceries. AND back then there were no food stamps to help customers buy the goods.

The Koreans did the same thing when the arrived in NY in the 50s - also penniless and unable to speak the language: they banded together and formed little businesses,

In both groups, by the next generation their kids were educated and successful.

Food insecurity. It exists. It hurts people from all walks of life.

Those who deny it lack empathy and should be excluded from your family, your church, your social organizations, your schools. Caveat: do feed their children if they suffer this insecurity. In fact, their children should be removed from parental control.

Yes, “food insecurity” is a real and well-defined concept used by governments, researchers, and humanitarian organizations worldwide.

We have a fat problem
Did you hear how all the leftists in this forum went into a meltdown when conservatives suggested that soda, candy, and Fritos shouldn’t be eligible for food stamps? They insisted we have no say in how other people “spend their own money” (ha!), and then of course screamed “racist!” because they automatically think food stamps = blacks.

Able bodied adults should not be getting food stamps
There are work requirements for SNAP. Some choose not to work and thus don't get SNAP. I have no sympathy for them.

SNAP recipients can be well fed but still remain in poverty. These are often conflated to suggest that even those on SNAP are food insecure.

If loss prevention and security staff were actually allowed to deal with shoplifters more aggressively, that would solve a lot of problems
