As long as gay florists aren't prohibited by law, gays can buy flowers from them.

The two can certainly co-exist if people are reasonable.

The gay folks should be allowed to marry (one proviso - if I'm invited to the wedding, it is required that they register, I'm ******* horrible at buying gifts, so I think that should be a law or something).

The business owner should be allowed to say "no thank you" to anyone. I'd think the gay couple wouldn't want to give them business anyway, and I'd want to know who the business owner was so that I could choose to not give them my business as well.

But no, some narcissistic control freaks choose to enforce a law (they're very selective in the laws that "matter", y'know) to make a point. They don't care if they damage the business, they don't care if they exacerbate tensions, all they want to do is intimidate and control.

Actually, it's both. No establishment of religion and freedom to practice it. Freedom of Religion and FROM religion. and, no, they shouldn't be starting their day with a prayer.

Just like we didn't put "In God We Trust" on the money until the 1950's, and we didn't put "Under God" into the Pledge of Allegience until the 1940's.

The religious assholes are always trying to insert themselves. And they need to be slapped down when they do.
