Which gas station doesn't want to take money from gay people? Is it possible that most of the persecution the gay militia faces is only in your head?Because equality dictates that such a thing is unnecessary and gets in the way of people living our lives. Just because they don't like your kind doesn't give them right to refuse service. People have busy lives to lead. Having to drive to the gas station that takes your kind just gets in the way.No, on equality. She could have been selling gum or Girl Scout cookies, the point is exactly the same.No dude, it's equality, an American Value that matters.Flowers dude, it's just flowers
A court wasted it's time on flowers
Gum and cookies are available in any number of places.
True story
Now, tell me why having to buy gum at Safeway instead of Al's Grocery is worth a second of a judges time.
Nope.Is it possible that most of the persecution the gay militia faces is only in your head?

The unconditional "civil rights" act was a huge mistake, forcing businesses to render service to anyone. Of course it was race based, but that didn't stop the gay militia from horning its way in so that even people's lifestyle choice becomes a "civil right". Now we've reached the point where people's "right" to patronize any business, which exists nowhere in the Constitution, trumps people's right to practice their religious faith, which IS in the Constitution.Which gas station doesn't want to take money from gay people? This is a question of gay MARRIAGE, not a fill up at the pump where nobody but the homosexual would know they are gay. Marriage is the core of society and there are specific mandates in the Bible NOT to allow any overtaking of any society by a homosexual culture, not mere individual homosexuals, which the Bible then says to extend compassion to "making a difference". The overtaking of any culture's base structure (marriage at the heart) ist verboten. THAT is the issue she will bring before the US Supreme Court: the right to not partake in the promotion of the homosexual subculture in taking over the base structure of society: marriage.
No, you made the claim. I reread the thread and no one said that gay people should be able to refuse serving Christians.Im not sure im into businesses serving people they dont want to .....by force of the government.
If theyre known bigots and enough people decide not to shop there as a result, theyll fail.
That all said, shes a despicable bigot. **** her
I agree completely. I think that discriminating against homosexuals should not only be legal, but protected!
The only catch is that they should have to post big signs by the entrance and include a clearly visible "non fine print" disclaimer in all their advertisements that they refuse to serve homosexuals.
But what if all business in their area did that? What if there was no business in their area who would do business with themThat doesn't even remotely say that gays shouldn't have to deal with Christians.^more liesThat is not in the least bit true. I have not seen one such post. Why lie about something like that?
Oh, well, you haven't seen it, I must be lying then. JoeBigot131 and PaintMyHouse for examlpe have argued that incessently. Given their post count, you are as KosherGirl said obviously not reading
Here you go sweetheart. Sucks to be you
Where in the Constitution does it say you have the right to force someone to bake you a cake? I can't find that part.
Where in the constitution does it say they CAN'T require you to bake a cake?
Actually, what requires you to back a cake is when you took out an ad that says, "I bake wedding cakes" In short, your advertisement was half of a written contract.
You're right on the quote. I confused it with the other discussion, but you're still wrong, sorry. Liberals tried that and got fine to the point what if gays don't want to deal with them.
I'm not finding those quotes for you, you made the claim, I don't have to prove you wrong
Or she can just go into a business that doesn't require her to offend her imaginary sky pixie.
A business owner should be free to refuse service to anyone for any reason, just as a worker should be free to refuse to work for any employer for any reason, just as a consumer should be free to refuse to patronize any business for any reason. Anything less is a gross violation of the most basic of human rights.
I disagree. We tried the 'white only' lunch counter. It didn't work out well.
States have undisputed authority over intrastate commerce. Its reasonable for them to require a minimum code of conduct for those engaged in commerce in their state. And among this, that they treat their customers fairly and equally.
Or she can just go into a business that doesn't require her to offend her imaginary sky pixie.
Wrong answer Joe

No, that's perfectly the right answer.
She can have a "religion", but her business is a PUBLIC ACCOMMODATION. Therefore, if she advertises a service, she has to provide it to anyone who asks for it, not just people who are in good graces with her sky pixie.
And why should this law be enforced, yet others like immigration are not?

Because these folks only care about laws they can leverage to intimidate and control.Or she can just go into a business that doesn't require her to offend her imaginary sky pixie.

I guess we need to take a look at all those +55 years of age or older housing/communities
So, I don't have to sell you a house in my development if you're not over 55.
