If her business is open to the public, and the customers are wearing shirts and shoes and have payment in hand, her business must accommodate those customers. If she is discriminating against any customer on sectarian, racial, gender or any other immutable reason, she is breaking the law. Just as Woolworth's did just as Greyhound did, and just as every other Jim Crow business in the south did.

Is it right to make others feel less than in business transactions? Is there a reasonable rational for her actions?

Or is it just another way to make those who are different feel inferior just for kicks?

But what if all business in their area did that?

What if aliens land in Bozeman Montana tomorrow? You're speculating on non realities. Look at the uproar that is created in the public every time one of these type of events hits the press. The majority of people do not like homophobic bigots who are going to run their businesses discriminating against gay people. If I'm looking to buy flowers and I see a sign that says "No gays allowed" I'm going to keep on moving. And so will a great many people. There are plenty of other reasonably minded businesses out there who would love to accept my money, and the money of gay people.

If I asked a photographer to photograph a lecture on the health risks of homosexuality, and the photographer informed me that he was gay and would rather not have to sit through such an event, much less photograph it, I would respect his views and feelings and simply find a different photographer. That's what normal, tolerant, open-minded people do. I wouldn't dream of suing him or filing a complaint against him.

Why can't gays show the same kind of tolerance and respect for the views and feelings of others and just go find different florists, bakers, and photographers? Why? They could easily do so. So why do they try to punish people who find their lifestyle offensive and immoral?

So, let's move the goal posts and call for a new, corrupted definition of discrimination. She refused service due to the fact the customers were homosexual. Why is that not discrimination in 25 words or less.
