Florida State Defense force

Recently much was made by the left that Gov. Desantis wanted to create a civilian military force in Florida. The fact is those are called State defense forces and 23 States have them, further Florida used to have one as well. Nothing abnormal about them, nor are they nefarious or political in any way.

They have that in California also. They don't seem to do much, but they do run a kind of "boot camp" for teen offenders at SLO.
