Two hurricanes stir up voter backlash to Florida Republicans’ climate denialism

This is the real climate "denialism"

The denial of the TRUTH of the ACTUAL DATA....

Their Theory is that adding Co2 to atmosphere warms atmosphere.

We have TWO and ONLY TWO measures of atmospheric temps, satellites and balloons. Both showed NO WARMING for decades during rising Co2 with high correlation, and then both were FUDGED in 2005 with laughable BS excuses, and the excuses didn't even explain what they did...

satellite and weather balloon data have actually suggested the opposite, that the atmosphere was cooling

SCIENCE SAYS THEORY REJECTED

"the science" says FUDGE THE DATA and claim "warming" that DOES NOT EXIST

Since Kamala just parrots homO, what is homO's credibility on climate change...

These dumb shits want to cut down trees and build solar farms.

TREES ARE THE #1 CARBON SCRUBBERS ON EARTH.

The cult is dumb. The donor class is lying.

They are traitors. Every single traitor who fudged one "study" deserves death and total asset forfeiture.

Co2 does NOTHING = THE DATA

They have bilked America for $20 trillion over A LIE.

Then surely you "smart" left wing liars can answer basic climate questions....

1. Why does one Earth polar circle have 9+ times the ice of the other?
2. Why is there ice age glacier south of Arctic Circle on Greenland but no such ice age glacier north of Arctic Circle on Alaska?
3. If the oceans are "warming" why is the record decade for canes still the 1940s?
4. If the oceans are "rising" why can't we see one single photo of land sinking?
5. How did Co2 thaw North America and freeze Greenland at the same time?
Its the Jews. Marje says so.

Anyone who says Florida is turning blue because of Helene and Milton is stupid or lying.

More than that. The fires are the result of too many humans consuming too much of finite land based fresh water supplies.

The solution is two fold.

1. desalinate ocean water
2. population control

The Co2 FRAUD blocks desalination by MISDIAGNOSING the problem. The Co2 FRAUD cheers the fires and claims they are evidence of warming. And THAT is TOTALLY WRONG TOO.

A WARMER EARTH is a WETTER EARTH = LESS FIRES

During the Jurassic Period, the Earth's climate was much warmer and wetter than it is today

Heated rhetoric obscures the middle ground between the extremes, the area of what will probably happen. Between "climate change is a hoax" and "we're all gonna die" there are the actual changes and probabilities. Florida coastal properties get a bit wetter each year, ground water gets a bit saltier, more mobile homes are mobilized to junkyards and landfills, etc.

The USA has over 14,000 ABANDONED WIND TURBINES.

ABANDONED WIND TURBINE FARMS ARE GREAT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT.

You climate cult fucks are such dumb fucking sheep.

huh, wet coasts, salty ground water, and mobile homes being used up is all because of CO2? Somehow that seems like a bit of a stretch, especially because we still have no consensus on what is warming, what's its temperature, and what its temp should be.

HEY LEFTY DUMB FUCKS….EXPLAIN TO THE CLASS HOW THAT IS GOOD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT.

Ron DeSantis, the Republican governor who considers global warming “leftwing stuff”, angered environmental advocates by signing a bill in May scrubbing the words “climate change” from state statutes and in effect committing Florida to a fossil fuel-burning future.
They saw his comments and actions as merely the latest acts of an extended period of climate denialism by state leaders – including Rick Scott, his predecessor as governor who is seeking re-election as US senator next month in a tight race with the Democrat Debbie Mucarsel-Powell.

Denialism is not really a credible policy in a state where folk cant get home insurance.Reps who vote against FEMA budgets seem to be divorced from reality.

I dont know if this is enough to introduce reality to Florida but they need some help.Maybe the federal govt should consider disaster funding for Florida. If they womt help themselves why should they expect the good people of Illinois to bail them out ?

It sounds harsh but maybe some of these places are not safe for humans any more.
Guess you didn't realize there were hurricanes before so called man made global warming. But, I understand that the left's position is to spend 50 trillion dollars so that we don't have hurricanes anymore.

Did the dinosaurs experience hurricanes or no? How about society before the Industrial Age?

There is an area on Jupiter called the Red Eye. It is full of storms and rapid harsh weather. Did the actions of man on earth help to create this on Jupiter?

The dinosaurs and Jupiter didn't and don't have elections to win and a society to manipulate.

Well, climate change might have a man-made contribution, I won't suggest it doesn't though I'm no expert.

Identifying an isolated storm or incident though as being the fault of man made climate change is offensive. Especially as the most ardent proponents of fighting climate change don't say a thing to the Chinese or Indian governments.

If all hurricanes were exactly equal.

Which, they aren't.

So yes, the strength of hurricanes impacts the damage done.
It doesn't matter. The damage is because of the development of the land mass, not the strength of the hurricane.

Which is more destructive, a Category 2 over a developed industrialized area covered with housing tracts, or a Category 5 over swampland and open fields?
