Florida shows real genius, gonna put kids to work!

Oh I did slave labor for dad from age 10 to 15 for $0.00 not even an allowance. I also did some yard work in the neighborhood to earn money for my bike and spending at the hobby shop.

These lard ass Democrats amaze me how lazy they are.
So chores and mowing an occasional lawn is the same as pulling overnight shifts ??

A more honest headline: "Teens can again learn a work ethic and make money when school is not in session."

We have child labor laws for a reason.

Child labor was always “voluntary” you dolts. It was also wrong
Yeah, it's to reduce competition. Fortunately, I was able to get a job for cash at 15 and 16. I'm sure I wasn't actually supposed to be running a skid-steer until I was 18.

They want to use children. American children. Roll back child labor laws. I'm not making this up. MAGA.

MAJOR SHIFT 14-year-olds to pull overnight shifts as US state moves to roll back child labor laws & combat ‘dirt cheap’ migrant work

CHILDREN as young as 14 years old could be working overnight shifts under a new plan to roll back child labor laws. The proposal seeks to remove limits on how late teens can be at work and the number of hours they can clock each week.

Governor Ron DeSantis is backing a proposal to allow 14-year-olds to work overnight shifts. The bill would remove restrictions for 14- and 15-year-olds who are home-schooled or attend virtual school. In Florida, 16- and 17-year-olds are currently prohibited from working before 6:30 am and after 11 pm on school days. They are also barred from working more than 30 hours a week during the school year.

A new proposal would remove all of those restrictions - including the requirement that teens get a meal break, the Miami Herald reported.

Governor Ron DeSantis supports the measure and argues it’s a way to address what he calls "dirt cheap" labor from illegal immigrants.

What's better? Learning to have a work ethic, learning that hard work gives you the means to support yourself, learning a skill, being part of a team and learning how to get along with others, or sitting around all day inside playing video games shooting up everything that you see? Gee, tough question.

My kids worked, they had responsibilities, they learned the positives of having a good work ethic and they're hard working contributors of society today. Your attitude is what's wrong with this country and why current generations are completely fucked up.

Awesome! Let those kids earn some money. I started working/paying taxes at 14, why cant they?

Good. Let them work if they want to. I started working for the City of Toledo when I was 8 years old. Sometimes I would work past midnight. When I was 10 or 11 I organized my first labor strike.

So let’s recap

We have twenty something deeebs rummaging through Social Security

People being illegally disappeared

Child labor being brought back

Vaccinations thrown to the curb

All in two months

WTF

I really don’t see how child labor could come close to the production lost by deporting workers.

It obviously didn't toughen you up that much then.
Touch enough to kick your asses Dems, tissue? 312, swept every swing state and won the popular vote. OH SNAP! Your useless Dem ancestors felt that beat down. :itsok:
