Florida becomes first state to end all vaccine mandates

The clock is ticking on the measles outbreak.

Since the CDC abandoned science for politics during covid
It would have if Capt. Clorox got his way, but he didn't.

To be clear, dropping vaccine mandates is a political decision....not one based on science.

I don't think the polio vaccine is that experimental any more..

This is pretty braindead stuff that unfortunately is going to cost lives and people living with injuries for the rest of their lives because their parents were brainwashed..

Vaccine mandates are there because real medical professionals (and basic common sense) are looking after the children even after parents heads have been filled with BS...

I will freely admit that putting anything into the human body has risk...Everything is benefit v risk...
Not taking the main vaccines (3 in 1,...) on a risk perspective is like saying I am not breathing because of getting airborne disease
DO you have any babies, kids, grandkids? Did you have them get the COVID vaccination as recommended by the Biden CDC?

The Biden administration is the one that tried to mandate experimental treatments on the American people as 'vaccines'. Try harder.

Indeed, when the government mandates anything, it is political. Freeing themselves from the oppressor state is always best for the people. I see why that would bother you so much.

The decision to mandate or not is made by politicians, i.e. a political decision.

No matter what it does.

No, it's doing now what we voted for it to do.

This thread is about a State deciding to end Vaccine mandates. I'm sure recommended vaccines will still be listed and provided.

I would say the long proven vaccines: polio, etc. parent should always give their children. But lean more towards parental choice, even if their parents are stupid.

This is how you get measles outbreaks.

Thank you for giving the best example of why people don't trust institutions anymore. you lead off with lumping everyone who even questions these things as a conspiracy nutter.
Nope... Never said that... I have always said putting anything into your body (air, Water, Food, Vaccine...) involves risk... knowing how much risk compared to the benefit is the science bit...
So if I said to someone don't drink water (or any liquids) because it could be dirty, you would be dead in three days. So you drink water...
Vaccine is the same... It is clear from Excess Deaths that Vaccine saved lives, clearly did...
The break is when they pretended the mRNA vaccines were the same as traditional ones when it came to known risks and depth of studies showing those risks.
I have never said there wasn't risks but where vaccine had higher adoption rates they had less excess deaths than lower adoption rates...

I showed you in just Republican v Democrat areas but this was all over the world...

The research of the risks is antidotal and data was collected in scientific way. They had one story after another about my friend's cousin once removed knew a guy who married a girl... Great scaremongering...

Sorry, the actual evidence came in and the vaccine saved massive amount of lives... Yes there is risk but the benefits kicked its ass...
Someone who is 99 years old dies while having COVID, was COVID the only reason they died?
CDC Excess Deaths is the numbers you look at... I explained them at the time...

Florida was definitely under reporting...

Yet you went right to the conspiracy thing in your response. Stop trying to remake what you said.

I didn't say you. read before you respond.

How much was that due to the vaccines, and how much due to natural immunity growth and viral attenuation?

There are lies, damn lies, and then there are statistics.

This is the debate in Europe...
Does the rights of the child outweigh the rights of the parent?

There was a referendum in Ireland and they sided with the child (and thus the government) to guarantee basic rights to the child. So a child's mandated to get vaccines, get a proper education, safe environment.....

Interesting debate... There is no right or wrong answer, each one has pros and cons... You can have some pretty horrendous parents and you can have government overreach...

Here is the required list for NYC schools.

Some of these to me seem excessive, in particular the Chicken Pox one and the Hep B one.

I have the Hep shots, but I work in wastewater treatment.

Even as US Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has ramped up a hostile takeover of federal vaccine policy, Florida on Wednesday took an unprecedented step: It became the first state to move to eliminate all vaccine requirements.

I can see this as putting other people in danger. Should vaccines be mandated or not? That is the question.
It doesn't end vaccines it just doesn't make them mandatory. How does it put others in danger ? If your vaccinated you are safe, right ?

How many of those who voted pro disease were protected from the horrible effects of those diseases? Because of the herd immunity effect, virtually all of them.
