No rain here, it was on either side of me a couple hours ago, still 87F sunny and dry.

Getting a good, slow steady rain today, much needed.

We came back from a week at the shore and we lost 2 or 3 shrubs from the heat. We got back Friday afternoon and Saturday it poured rain. Maybe the shrubs will come back next year but they're looking pretty dead to me. <sigh> The grass is brown and ugly. At least it doesn't need to be mowed!
