Like all men, Mr. Columbus had his faults. But he was forward thinking- the scientific consensus when he set out from Spain was that he would probably fall off the edge of the world and that would be that.

But that's really not the point.

In the modern era, Columbus has achieved patron status among the Italian people. Regardless of what sins Chris may have committed, its about respect for our spaghetti loving brethren of the boot who he represents.

An attack upon Columbus is an attack on all Italians.

Then you need to give up all of your electronic devices and your basketball and your football and your music and everything you do and aspire to culturally. Because Columbus laid the groundwork for all of that.
