When the longtime CNN Headline News reporter refused, officers took him into the bathroom and beheaded him with a hunting knife.Video of the incident was later posted on YouTube, along with a warning to other journalists not to interfere with police activities in the area.

Let this serve as a message to MSNBC, Fox News, the New York Times, the Huffington Post and other national news outlets,” exclaims an officer in the video, with Baxter’s severed head in one hand. Ever since this crisis started the media has unfairly portrayed us as violent monsters. And freedom of the press? That’s fine. If you want to sit in your studio in New York or Washington D.C. and slander our reputations, go ahead. But when you come into our town, you play by our rules. We are the Ferguson police. And we are the law.

It's painstakingly obvious that some people should just stop trying to write altogether, because they're horrible at it — the idiot who wrote that pedestrian satire, for example.

Its really the thought that counts.

Although I somewhat agree: It may be too soon to begin the beheading jokes.

Not amusing, and the site is obnoxious.

Satire does not have to be amusing. Read btwn the lines and some good points can be made for the piece.

Even with the heavy use of sarcasm, it is in poor taste.

But I do appreciate the non-partisan inclusion of a warning to both MSNBC and FNC.

It takes a smart—or at least informed—person to write a good satire.

It takes a very smart person to be able to make people of all—not merely some, or even worse, a few—socioeconomic backgrounds laugh while reading said satire.

The clown who wrote that did neither, for me.

Not MAD, that is certain.

Honestly, I enjoyed the satire and humor of it. August has been a rough month. Some comic relief is past due.

Or Orwell's Animal Farm.

Or Sinclair Lewis' Main Street.

Or Swift's Gulliver's Travels.

Hell, I don't even think it's even worth comparing to Collins' The Hunger Games. And man, is that ever sayin' sumin', right there.

I'll keep working on it.
In the meantime, are there any reporters from Fox News currently operating in Ferguson?
