An anonymous member of the Penn womenâs swim team recently spoke to media outlet OutKick regarding Lia Thomas, a trans woman who is competing on the womenâs team this season after spending three seasons swimming as a male.
Thomas has set numerous Ivy League and Penn school records this season, including posting the nationâs top time in both the womenâs 200 free (1:41.93) and 500 free (4:34.06) at Akronâs Zippy Invite last weekend.

âPretty much everyone individually has spoken to our coaches about not liking this,â the Penn swimmer told OutKick. âOur coach (Mike Schnur) just really likes winning. Heâs like most coaches. I think secretly everyone just knows itâs the wrong thing to do.
âWhen the whole team is together, we have to be like, âOh my gosh, go Lia, thatâs great, youâre amazing.â Itâs very fake,â she added.

I have nothing against transwomen. I'll call them she/her, no matter how unrealistic they look as women. But let them have their own bathrooms and their own sports teams, not "pwn" biological females in women's sports and not be allowed to put on a skirt and rape girls in the girls room.
