Right. I'm ashamed of those girls. They could be historical figures, but noooooooooo --- they are worried someone will take their scholarships away.

Nothing will change until people (girls! Their parents! Coaches, like the one who just quit, good for her!) TAKE A STAND.

Another poster recommended that the swimmers dress out for the meet, get up on the blocks, then take a knee when the race starts. That would be the ultimate protest, because there would be no avoiding it, no ignoring it, just him all by himself splashing in the pool. He probably wouldn't even realize they weren't in there with him until he hit the far wall and turned around. They probably wouldn't have to do it more than once or twice to get the point across.

The only way this stops is if a large enough group of athletes protests at the same time. If only a handful protest, they'll be squashed, but if every woman that competes against this guy took a knee instead of swimming, there would be swift action, because no one wants to see him all alone in the pool. In all seriousness, if they all refuse to swim against him, he becomes meaningless.

That would just make him a martyr. Women refusing to swim against him would be very effective, because the NCAA does not want the spectacle of him splashing around in the pool all by himself, heading to a meaningless victory.

Rosa Parks is not a good parallel. She was actually a victim not of her own doing — once upon a time. These female ivy league swimmers are democrats and they set themselves up for this entire absurdity. They deserve this unfair outcome.
