Until then, and I know democrats don't have many of these, but "concerned parents" have every right to show their displeasure at school boards that play shit politics with students' curriculums, and then cry to the Federal government to misuse the FBI to intimidate those concerned parents.
This will end badly, because there are way more pissed off parents than stupid Joe has FBI agents.

IMHO they are two sides of the same socialist coin, but teacher's unions have way more political power because they have way more money to donate. Agree or disagree?

School Boards generally can be voted out by organized parents.

In the Marxist hellhole Nancy, Hillary, Chuckie, and Joe are turning into, the concept of posse commietatus is an everyday experience. The Demonrats take advantage of law-abiding Republicans and steal Congressional seats in both House and Senate by trashing honorable words and behaviors, not to mention changing Republican votes into votes for Democrats by diverse and sundry means. The Demonrats think others are stupid and I had a window to their corruption years ago when Time Magazine had online public discussion boards and some Democrat precinct chairmen were discussing an election and were having themselves a fine little pissing match over who voted the most times. Their posts were a sight I will never forget. All I remember how stunned I was that people would brag about getting their candidates elected even though they were placed in office when enough votes were not there. I had never been so horrified to think that such things were going when lockstep measures made as wrongful candidates took office and were checked by house and senate whips. That happened over 20 years ago. I quit reading Time Magazine and stopped buying their products when they eliminated their boards rather than fixed the problem they started insuring that unfairness by cheating Americans would go on.

It is really bad 20 year later.

There's alot of people who feel that they're under assault from Washington and their local governments....because people who shouldn't be in office are now calling the shots.
Jan 6th was just another clownshow.....something that even Mike Pence appeared to be in on.

Parents have the right to approach the school board and complain and even vent. School boards don't like it, too bad. That's America.

However

The manner in which parents are doing this is often misguided and misinformed. I am a conservative Christian public school teacher and have long thought the approach my fellow conservatives take is clumsy to say the least. There is not ONE "government school". Public schools are incredibly diverse not only across the nation, not only from state to state, but often within the same DISTRICT (really).

So now we have parents convinced that because kindergarteners are reading books about trans in Berkeley CA they must be doing this in every small town in North Dakota or Oklahoma too. Maybe. But not necessarily. Hey here's a novel idea: how about you find out before Storming the Board? And if it's true: go for it. But if it's not true: hold off so we don't look like unhinged liberals. Because we're not--and thank God for that daily.

No, your reading comprehension sucks out the ass! You keep mentioning things that you ASSUME I supposedly stated or believe, but never provide quotes of my post to prove it. That's called putting words in my mouth.

Not knowing school boards are connected is just an example of your ignorance. Liberal school boards are the problem. Teacher's unions are connected in similar ways. In my career, I was a short-term member of the NEA, AFT and a union that had no national affiliation. Up until recently, teacher's unions had no input into curriculum and that remains the same in a number of districts.

To educate you further, some states have one school district for each county. No more, no less. In my current state, there are three districts in the same county, with one being DoD dependent's schools, another city independent school district, and a county school district to encompass the areas not covered by the Army post and within the limits of the city independent district.. Each of them have their own school boards, elected by the voters. They also have three different teacher's unions. Guess what is not taught in any of those districts? CRT. How do I know this? I taught in two of those districts and I have friends who are teachers in all three, plus others out of this county.

I have a history degree and teacher's certification, and taught history courses at various times during my career. CRT has absolutely no place in any of those courses because it is not based on facts, but feelings. I taught about the slave trade, the causes of the Civil War, and Reconstruction, the KKK, and the civil rights movement.

Having two mixed race grandsons, I would be fighting our local board tooth and nail to prevent them from being exposed to such idiocy. Through the randomness of genetics, the older one appears white as the day is long. The younger one has dark skin and looks like his grandmother on his father's side, who was black. Should they hate each other as taught by CRT?

I also recently found out that my great grandmother, and great grandfather were mixed race from the late 1800s. Why did I not know this? In this state, blacks were not treated at "white" hospitals. but Native Americans were. When my grandmother and great aunt had the Spanish Flu, they claimed to be Native American because of their skin tone and were treated at the hospital. I grew up and lived until my late 50's when a DNA test proved I had no Native American blood (like Elizabeth Warren), but I was part black and mostly of Viking ancestry. Imagine my shock and confusion when I got those results. My surname is English, but I have only about 1/5 of my DNA from there.

In summary, most people have a lot to learn about schools in the current day because almost all of you are as old as Methuselah, and like me, went to school in the 60s, 70s, or 80s. Making assumptions based on your ancient experience is where you err greatly.
